I have an 810-4 Town Plan UK set (circa 1965) which I have had since I was a child. It is complete with all pieces and instructions and all the small fragile figures, signs and vehicles are in as new condition. The box lid has a bit of wear and tear. Just wondering whether anyone can give me a lead on whether it is worth any significant money, and if so what is the best means of selling it. 

Vintage items are tricky business and I imagine the pool of potential though serious buyers may unfortunately be low. Regrettably I am in no manner capable of giving good advice in this area but hopefully one of the members here who have dealt with dealing in classic sets will happen to see this.

Did you decide to sell the set?  If so, I may be interested.   The market for the vintage sets is tricky.
