I suspect all you guys will get on Tuesday is some pryms and towells. 

Well I doubt they can do that. I think either they will honor the orders coz their mistake or cancel them altogether. If they cancel them, you can be sure everyone who ordered is gonna get some very nice geschenkkarte; this is Galeria Kaufhof, not some provincial mom&pop BM store... And this could make it to the news

Galeria Kaufhof's stock of Lego has totally depleted. Only some Technic sets still show availability. Shows how popular Technic is afer all. 

Technic was always a niche and its fans are AFOLs, not necessarily investors, to be able to know what's cooking on Galeria's website tonight. As for the investors, you yourself started doubting Technic potential and announced its withdrawal from your Brickfolio. Your word carries weight around here, so it's sort of normal that those of us who are following this thread & are onto this amazing glitch concentrate on other things first.

That being said, and in spite of my respect for your investment advice, I still grabbed an MKII tonight. For 111€, it's a steal Part out or sell at RRP in few months, no matter, it's either way

Offcourse 111 euro for the MKII is a steal. Did I say it wasn't? Although all stands and falls with the fact if they (Galeria-Kaufhof) honour the orders of 2 x 20% off.

However, the last Technic set that performed really well was the 8043 Motorized Excavator.

And as for the MKII: from 111 euro to retail price is a long way to go.

True. When I said RRP I was literally thinking RRP-15%. It was forever on that discount (still is on amazon.de I believe). Sell for 170€ (ok, preferably Bricklink...) and fine by me...
