I think Brickpicker broke them last year. They had 20-25% coupons running through more than half of 2015!

I sometimes suffer from PC.  I blame it on Brickpicker for getting me too excited sometimes. 

Talked to someone with some knowledge regarding coupons. Jan - March are designated as Baby months @ Tru/Bru. Regular coupons to resume starting April. Fwiw .

Just got back from TRU in Newington, NH. First person at register said no to price match, argued with her that the price match policy specifically lists Fred Meyer. She called the manager who adjusted the price without even looking the the price online, on my word alone.

As I said earlier, the coupons are out.  Expires 3/12.  Both the 15% off and 20% off came out a couple of weeks ago.

Does anyone have a scan of the 15% or 20% that they can post?

 

If you search for toys r us coupon on eBay and check sold listings, you can see there is a 15% and 20% off coupon that expires 3/12 from somewhere. Not the usual peeled off the catalog ones though. I took this picture from an ended auction.  The way the barcode and date are printed makes me think they might be unique barcodes for true one-time use.  I'm sure someone here will try and report back.

No, it was the peel off coupon.  But I've seen the 20% one.  I believe they might be one-off coupons as well.  If you get one of these, can you please send me the code after you use it?

It was probably the "one baby item" variety.

The 15% was.  The other 15% and 20% are just like the ones from the end of last year.

Just got an email from Synchrony Financial (e.g. The TRU CC people). It says that the 10% off Thursdays is limited time only.

Fine print says: 10% Off Thursdays: Valid through 4/30/16.

 

If this is the case, looks like I'll be canceling my TRU CC on 5/1/16

Does anyone know if the partial pay with credit card on Thursdays will still get the %10 off? I liked using TRU credit card for %10 off Thursdays and then using discounted gift cards to pay the remaining balance.

Yes, I purchased several Lego and also some birthday gifts at two different stores on Thursday, Feb. 25, and received the 10% discount and then did a partial pay of $1 and the rest on discounted gift cards.  I verify verbally it's 10% Thursday when they scan my RUs number, and they enter the discount.  Then I just do the partial pay without mentioning it, and then present the gift card.

I also like the partial pay for the benefit of double RUs points when you use your card - 8% instead of 4%.  Even though only charging $1 on the card, you get double points on the entire purchase.
