      I know it's a hassle but you need to pre-calculate your purchases when applying multiple discounts before heading to the register. More often than not, the cashier will screw up the series of button p

    The % coupons should not work on the sale items since they are not regular priced.  The discount can be pushed through with a manager override but that's YMMV.  I tried to use the 15% and 20% coupons on the UA Ocean HQ and Brick Bounty yesterday and it was denied.

    For those who care about the particulars, basically - the 30% discount is more or less an 'auto applied' coupon at checkout. So that's why the 15-20% off coupons don't work, because the system already sees a coupon being used for the item in question.

    Ah okay that's what I was thinking. I know the 15% from last month worked on the 30% off BF items but wasn't sure if it would this time around. Did you try the $5? That one should work.

    The $5 coupon worked on my 30% off chima set + 2 storm trooper purchase.  The second stormtrooper was qualified as free since I met the purchase threshold after discounts.

    Not much special in next week's flyer. Free $10 gift card with $50 Star Wars purchase or $25 for $100 but excludes LEGO. Also a free Christmas Tree poly with $30 purchase.

    I see the fine print on the coupon does say only original coupons accepted as well.

    Not necessarily, as I believe it depends on how they set up the sale in their system. The coupons worked on the 30% off sale just fine during BF.

    20% off coupon did not work on Brick Bounty at my store. I had mentioned this earlier, I am not sure if they changed their system - but the "sale" basically applied as a coupon. It didn't lower the POS price, it added 30% off special at the register - which basically overrides the 20%/15% coupons.

    I bought 5 benny's 3 MTT and just about every TMNT and lego movie set and 20% did not work on any.

    and if you are going into a TRU on saturday god help you.  spent 15 min in line this morning just to get a Poe's for $50.  not sure it was worth the ~$30...

    anyone else's TRU completely wiped out? I stopped into mine last night and it looked like a tornado had been through and carried off half of their lego stock

    Yes, came to this thread to vent... Went in today with a prioritized list of sets to buy, and had to go with option #6 because the others were all sold out (they were all there this past Saturday). And I haven't gotten a free polybag my last three visits (probably because I only stop in on TRUTH days). I know, I know, woe is me... ;)
