Don't forget sold out on Shop at Home, TRU.com, and non-existent/retired in EU.  I got scared of this one when the TRU warehouse kept increasing their supply from a few hundred to over 1,000 and sold what I acquired during Bricktober.  I think most of those got shipped out to the stores for Black Friday.  I made decent money on the set shipping overseas and have since restocked with a decent amount for $70.  

Thanks for the info, been seeing these a lot at TRU still.  Wasn't sure if there was a additional discount beside Truth on it.

You should be able to use the 20% coupon in combination with TRUTH to get it down to $72 plus tax.

Be ready to compete with ppl who got them for <40% off  thanks to BF + TRUTH

sold my 10 between $150-160 in less than a week. thats $40-50+ a piece in the clear. does not appear that the price is dropping either. this can go to $200 by xmas easy, unless TRU opens the floodgates and market gets saturated.

Yes. If I could buy another 10 below US$90 I would. I have sold what, 11 of them so far, all but two to locations outside the USA over the last few months. Made anywhere from $40 to $60 from each, maybe? It is a nice set with good, interesting pieces that was released in a handful of markets.

Nothing against the set.  I'm not really a big time (or even medium time) seller, I mostly sell just to pay for my own collection and I reserve my storage space for exclusives and smaller sets that I think have potential locally.

just picked up distressed HQ Ocean with 20% and 10% of credit card couldn't use 5 Off 25. Saw bunch of dr. who sets at 64.99 is it worth grabbing those with 10% trust?

I'm kinda new around here, but I wouldn't pick one up unless I could get it with at least the 20% stacked w/ TRU.  I would grab a handful at that price, but also realize that you'll be sitting on those for a while before EOL.  So it's a matter of weighing your options and strategy.  If you believe sometime between now and EOL these will sell for a bit less (closer to RRP) and you'll still have access to a 20% coupon and 10% TRUTH, you might wanna wait.  I believe all of those to be true, so I haven't tied my budget up in more than 2 of these.  I got those two as part of GH transactions.

Why is it so hard for cashiers to put in the 10% CC discount? I specifically asked for it and then had to go back to the service desk to get an adjustment.

I am sure most of you would probably scan it anyway, but because I am a moron I decided to brave TRU on a Holiday Shopping Saturday to look for Lonely Mountains/AT-ATs. I stumbled across a Galaxy Squad Hive Crawler. Rang up at .03 cents. They gave me a hard time about it at the register, called over a manager, but begrudgingly gave it to me at that price. 

Dumped it in the donation box.

They were out of this weeks LEGO promo, and wouldn't sub in any hulks which was annoying. Last week there were two LM's, both were gone this week. Lots of Hydra Smash and I snared the last AT-AT. 

As a NON-TRU observation, my B&N had like 20 Falcons on their Star Wars display. I boldly predict some of those may make it to a 20-25% discount at some point.

The math doesn't make any sense to me. Here's what I get:

Assumption - each item costs $43, total $86.

Item 1 - 20% off plus TRUTH = $30.96

Item 2 - 15% off plus TRUTH = $32.90

Total - $63.86

Rewards - $40 = $23.86

What did I miss? What did you miss?

You could have used the $5 off $25 to bring that down a little more.

Fortress are clearance.  20 or 15 %off coupons shouldn't work without manager override.

Yep.  Although, according to the receipt, they did work.  But doesn't Rewards reduce the out the door cost?  So 20%, 15%, and TRUTH would be against $22.98 ($42.98 - $20 for each Reward).

I'm not sure why you were getting 20% off twice, either.
