FYI in case anyone else did not get their 10 dollar credit (from that one day online store pick up of 19+) just call them they give you a code to use in store or online for 10 dollars.

This is probably a dumb question, but the TRU Coupons (like the 15% off) won't work on the BOGO 40% off because of them being discounted? Or might it work on the first item then give you the 2nd item 40% off the 15% off first item price?

I think the 15% off expires this Saturday.  Bogo starts Sunday.

Turned off at the register, since the 15% off coupon specifically states "15% off one regular priced item".

If the item is on sale, the coupon will not work. That's also true for regular priced items that have a promo that's better than 15% off as well.

I'm not sure what the threshold is, but in my case, I bought a Hot Wheels item today that was over $40. TRU has a promo where you get a $10.99 9-pack of car for $1.

My Creepy Geoffrey promo went through, and I got 15% off my LEGO sets. But the Hot Wheels set did not get the 15% applied. I did the the $1 promo item.

TRU Tax is in full effect. Speed Champions Series 1 cars were priced at $17.99 to $21.99. Yes friends, LaFerrari was $21.99 in store. That's almost a 50% markup. Another crazy markup - the slow selling Ninjago Ultra Stealth Raider was $120 in store. The 20% off Ninjago sale just barely puts it under RRP. City Garbage truck was $24.99... what?!

Sad thing is that once these items are marked up, they rarely get marked back down to normal RRP. If you're interested in any of the sets that are currently RRP, I'd move fast. Most of the December sets were priced at RRP for now with some notable exceptions (i.e. City Catamaran and Truck) already marked up 10-15%

The TRU tax is true and one thing you have to look for if buying there. You can get decent discounts when it first appears and then they can disappear.

My store had series one with the 20% off but only certain series 2 sets carried the 20%, not all. Also noted the TRU tax. But the 10off75 does work. The only drawback, no Geoffrey.

Ended up getting a few series 1 cars as they will soon be retiring. Seeing series 3 right around the corner, this theme might be worth it if bought at the right prices.

Yup, I noticed last night that the 75913 F14 T & Scuderia Ferrari Truck, which has normally been 109.99 at TRU, is up to 119.99.  I was interested in another one, but not at 20% markup and then discounts. 

What are people's thoughts on the 10654 XL Creative Brick Box TRU exclusive?  1,600 pieces for $49.99, and then the $10 coupon gets it down to $39.99, TRUTH, credit card.  It's a LOT of pieces for not a lot of money.  How is resale on these boxes, generally?  Do you resell the same Christmas season, or the next one?

almost as good ad the bf box from walmart if you buy 2 factor in truth and the $10 coupon, and possibly gc.  ends up $40.50 each with out gc, but 100 more pieces and a lot less hoarding.  plus the box size should make shipping easier.
