I'm logistically challenged for the event tomorrow.  We have soccer games at noon and 1pm.

That's how I read it too.

We are headed to downtown LA tomorrow. Have to drop the wife and daughter off at an event birthday party. Luckily, there's a TRU nearby. Only son and I will be going so hopefully I'll be able to secure a second one for the daughter.

Will they let you build one if you stop by without any children?

A minifigure sized one is in the current Belle's Castle but we've never had a brick built one before.

Took my daughter to TRU as well, forgot the build was today. Nice looking set, I agree on the sticker, but whatever, it's a one time promo set.

This was my fifth promo set and I think it is the best so far. The MF was certainly cool. But it's not the best looking, and will have only a moderate resale value. There are sooo many MF's, even small ones that people know about.
But this Cogsworth is unique. Most people won't know how to BL it, and even if they did, they'd need the sticker. I could see this having some value, if it's not steadily repeated at every B&tB event every year. 

Almost all of the Cogsworth listings on eBay are "New" even though they have been built with the sticker applied. 

These may go up next weekend for those that missed out on the pair but then soon to be forgotten.

Beware TRUTHers. It looks like they are trying to sneak us through without our 10% going forward. Make sure to ask for your discounts tomorrow.

...and sometimes that doesn't even work.

I always try to do the math in my head before I checkout so I have a good idea what the total should be with the 10% TRUTH just in case the discount isn't applied correctly by the cashier.  I've had to get it adjusted a couple times before and it's a real pain because you have to return and repurchase everything.

That wording has always been in place. See, if you don't get the Thursday discount, it's your fault.

My TRU shopping has completely bottomed out. Even the 20% off coupon with TRUTH is not inviting anymore with the rash of crazy 50% closeouts and Kmart practically giving merchandise away. Hopefully there'll be some decent Black Friday deals coming up and I'll step foot into a TRU again..

I'll have an extra Lumiere to trade for a cogsworth...my daughter was disappointed we missed that build.
