why does it matter what "paper" the barcode was "written" on? UPC is all that counts

Saw the new airport today. The jet is the best color yet in the last 10 years I think. TRU has it at $100 regular price at the moment. I really like this kit.

Funny you mentioned that. I saw 4 UCS 75095  in perfect shape in TRU today.. I asked about Slave 1 was told that the TIE replaced it in store for now.. Just one store, and the word of one employee, but anyone else see this?

I saw a UCS Tie in a TRU siting out on the floor in a spider in front of other SW sets. Box was in good condition. Haven't seen UCS sets at that store before and they don't have shelves adjusted high enough for it.

Didn't go to TRUs that have had Slaves last week so can't confirm swap. Probably will this thurs though.

At my TRU on  Thursday. 3x Slave I on the S.W. LEGO shelf. 2 x TIE Fighter behind the electronics counter.....

I received a letter in the mail from TRU today and it included a 15% coupon. They said that the coupon I received when I opened my Tru credit card account last year may not have worked properly. Which it did......so they send me another one. Not sure what is going on with that. Might be a trap.

I saw them at my local TRU as well.  Also the store had a side display of the Olaf polybags that Target had around Easter and LEGO store is giving away next month.  I picked one up and it scanned "Do not sell until Aug 1st" at the register.   Cashier called over to the manager and he said sell it.  I said about the Superhero sets probably being the same way to the cashier.  She just said something along the lines of "the new manager doesn't seem to care.  The old one never would have allowed it."

I like the new manager; )

Was told no GC numbers and pin, only physical cards today by manager. She said something like, "things are changing around here". I assume a bs ymmv on her part (especially since this is how it works online), but has any one else run into this lately?


I didn't have the fight in me to argue after the cashier yelled the question across the store to her and she yelled the answer back. Geeezz!

Generally I write the number on a slip of paper I hand over instead of my phone (though in past I've done the phone).

Saw the Scarecrow set, but not the Killer Croc set.  No Amusement Park Rollercoaster, but they did have the Hot Dog Van.  I passed on the Hot Dog Van, but couldn't pass up Ghost Rider, even tho it was just the normal TRUTH.
