When I first signed up at TRU, I opted "in" for all the catalogs, emails, etc.  I started getting catalogs (but no coupons) for several months. I thought it was maybe a store level / regional decision on who gets coupons, based on zip code, or whatever.  Following advice I got here, I called customer service and reconfirmed that I wanted all the promos, coupons, etc, that I could get. A little while later, I started to receive coupons on my catalogs. Not sure if they really responded to my call, or if timing was just coincidence.

... or based on your call, TRU hired Ace Brickman, who found out through some clever sleuthing that it was Mia Mailman who was knicking the coupons off of your catalogs, who subsequently got fired, and so you started seeing coupons again. En passant, the Highlander stopped receiving illegal shipments of candy at the same time ... two mysteries solved at once. Another day, another dollar for Ace Brickman, P.I.

I think they are clearing out the warehouses.

I found some old ninjago stuff that had disappeared months ago too. Guess I should have looked closer for other sets.

Not sure if it constitutes a restock, but my nearest TRU has had it in a clearance bin for over a month.  Also can confirm I saw it yesterday at a different TRU on the shelf also for clearance pricing.

They are clearance priced at my TRU, but they were missing for a month or more and now they're back, but still commingled with other Super Heroes sets.

Yes. The stock had dwindled but now there are two fully deep rows at both of the stores that I visited yesterday. Another giant turd for the Superheroes line.

No, I just saw one bundled with the 20% off coupon.

So this is kind of crappy, but I think someone stole my TRU 20% for this month. Still haven't received it. In the past it's been hit or miss, like 3 months in a row it'll come then one month is wont.

Not necessarily stolen... IMO

In my case, I've got the physical coupons in snail mail about less than half of the time it's reported by the members here (or sometimes 15% instead of 20%). I don't know what their promo strategy goes but I guess I'd like to choose to believe my mail lady has nothing to do about it.
