Don't know. That may be a case that, if they are going to be sticklers, but can't show you an exclusion, you may have to call the credit card company.

Asst manager wrung me up. Assured me that she did the credit 10%. When I looked at my receipt in the car, the 10% didn't apply. It applied to the clearance duplo I also bought, mentions a discount at the bottom, but didn't apply to the AG doll. I'll take a pic of the receipt later.

You should be able to call synchrony cs. They will apply it for you.

On the pegs in one spot like that? Yes. That many different CMF series, no.

My TRU had Disney, S16, and TLBM out today. Two full boxes of each.

I have seen my TRU do a series on pegs before, but nothing like that.

Still new with these tactics so I have 2 questions

 

1) Went to TRU today (thurs) and bought 1 item. I asked the cashier if I could partial pay with TRU CC and then use GC and she said that was fine. However, she was being super nice (I think) and registered me using my CC to get the 10% off, but then put entire balance on GC and none on the CC...

So while I think she was trying to be nice by not making me put any of the balance on the CC, did she ultimately screw me out of the double points? hahaha I'll check my account but I am 99% sure if no money was put on the CC I lose out on the double points for the purchase.

 

2) That same cashier told me if they PM with Amazon, then the 10% on Thursdays doesn't stack. Have most people found this true? or is this a huge YMMV per store?

This happened to me multiple times (includes trying to use %-off coupons... anytime they try to ring a PM, it voids all other discounts (i.e. TRUST / coupon / etc)... but I don't argue because 1. manager wasn't able to override, and 2. PM discount was much better deal than TRUST+coupons w/o PM.

Funny thing happened at TRU today.  Walked in the store and most of the lego were priced at RRP, thought I was in the wrong store for a minute...

also picked up a pair of Bane's Trucks + Battle Pods for $36 each.

Yeah, for #2, but not for #1. Should see it for each line item. So apparently, yeah, you found a 10% exclusion.

If @donbee calls the number on the back of his TRU cc they'll more than likely take 10% off the whole purchase.

 

Got a coupon in my email, likely single use, for 15% off a purchase with the TRU card. Can't be combined with TRUTH. Valid until 7/16. Lego Hard to Find excluded.

Worse! It was 10% off any day of the week rather than Thursday only but yeah, not a really a fan of TRU.
