I actually heard this enough that I stopped asking.  The manager of the store for that matter.  He/She would say what's on the floor is what we have.  I would tell them they must have took them in the back, since there was a pile of them out yesterday.  They'd say no and then all of them would show up again on the shelves a month later.  Maybe this should have been posted in the "I Love It" thread.

I just applied for the TRU cc online. After acceptance I printed out my cc info so I can go in store to use it today. It also gave me the 15% coupon. This is the way to go since my local store only gives 10% coupons when applying in store.

For those worried about it, the Body Board deal has apparently been changed to ANY $40 purchase in store. So you don't have to feel bad (Hah, like any of you would!). The store I was out was out of them however.

I was actually scouting on Tuesday, and there were several of the 40% off sets still avail - today I go back in, and most of the stuff I wanted to combine with TRUTH were already gone, which was slightly annoying. Grabbed one more Hydra Smash, and a few of the Race Cars. They still had plenty promo polybags.

For my 20% off coupon, if anyone cares, I grabbed a Darth Vader Tie/A-Wing. Yea, I know it's too early to start investing in those... But I'm a believer in this set. Never too early to start collecting I guess.

Yeah, I thought about it. Also thought about 75105 MF... My cashier friend would've forced the coupon on whatever I brought to the counter. I felt kinda silly putting it this set for an extra $3... but my kid has been wanting this.

I picked it up the first TRUTH it appeared. I got lucky since the City Race Cars and Hydra Fortress didn't have signs in front of them. Used my last 2 coupons. Only 3 boogie boards were left.

Finally signed up for the credit card and got 15% off in store. Ended up using my 20% on an Ecto 1 to stash away. Here's my first big TRUTH haul -

They still have like 4 more but the boxes are pretty beat up. A lot of dents and creases and loose seals. Not sure if they're worth it for around $60 each. I guess maybe if I have time to part out I will go back and get the remaining. The manager told me I could only get 3 at a time and I didn't wanna press my luck.

Yeah, go figure.  She had a bit of an attitude with me - it was about an hour before closing and I first asked her to see if she had any Slave 1s in store (because the in store pick up showed they were available).  Then I asked if I could get a further discount if I purchased all 8 or 9 of the remaining Pirate Ships together and she said a bit rudely "no, we have limits to how many Lego sets you can buy.  You can only buy 3."   The Pirate Ships have been there for MONTHS.  I stop into that Toys R us probably twice a month and always stop by to say hello to them.  They only just in the last month put them on clearance at $69.98.

I have a 20% off in store coupon I am not going to be able to use as it expires today and we got free tickets to a show in town which sounds better than a trip to the toy store. If anyone wants it and your toys r us will accept a photo of it or the code message me and I will send it to the first request I get.

In an earlier post I showed the two different coupons. One sent to my mom that expires todayish. Another that I received. Which expires in July. I'm an award member, and my daughters birthday is this month. My mom isn't.

I wouldn't change your disposition because of this score, simply because you most likely will not be able replicate this, or anyone else. Congrats on it though.

$10 off $75 = 13%. Maybe good if you can find a discounted mid priced set to stack with +/- other CC or GC discount
