May 5, 20169 yr I've heard something about a difference between a "price adjustment" and a "price match" of which the former may allow for coupons or additional discounts to be used. It probably requires a manager override so YMMV.
May 5, 20169 yr Has anyone verified if the $5 and 20% coupon will stack on a single item without override?
May 5, 20169 yr Has anybody tried using the $5 off coupon with rewards? I know that coupons are generally applied after rewards, but will the $5 off coupon apply if rewards bring a 30+ item under 30?

Now that we've covered the requisite weekly TRUTH posts, let's talk about shopping for those of us in non-Slave-1 territories. Disney CMF have come and gone from my area TRU. And they haven't put out the Captain America poly yet. Looks like bunch-o-water-balloons for me this week.

Don't bother at Christiana.
May 6, 20169 yr Just saw something completely unbelievable at my Toys"R"Us. I had heard about this but hadn't seen it until today. Two guys buying at least 15 carts worth of Lego. Needless to say I didn't get a Slave 1 as a result. It was mighty impressive. Must stink for the cashier though. Looks like they were price matching everything.

May 6, 20169 yr I guess I a missing a joke. I knew these guys came in on Thursday as the store manager mentioned some one came and spent a couple of grand every week. When I hit the Lego aisle tonight the shelves were near bare. Then when I was heading out I saw the line of carts at the game section checkout and stacks and stacks on the floor. At least they were organizing them for the cashier. Still would be a pain to ring that all up.

May 6, 20169 yr FWIW - The 20% off and $5 coupon do not stack on a single item (without override), the $5 coupon applied and the 20% did not. I am not sure if you have two items $30+ if it will work or not, I didn't try that. And do these guys just buy... Every regular price set using the 10% discount? What are they matching to?

Mine couldn't get the 2 coupons to work together even though I was buying several items in the same transaction...
May 6, 20169 yr this only happens with TRU. rewards goes negative it was -3600 at one point... have been 2 months they haven't fixed it yet

I had the same issue but with some management manipulation they fixed it so it came out to work. However they are really cracking down on double coupons and using the same ecoupon multiple times in multiple transactions. Guess the party is winding down..................

May 7, 20169 yr I was told today that the gwp will last until tomorrow. Which is the SW build day. But yesterday I had bought a bunch of Legos and didn't get one for free. So disappointed. I'm going back tomorrow.
May 7, 20169 yr So I am a little confused, was the Captain America GWP this PAST week, or is it supposed to be next week?

My TRU looked at me like I was speaking another language when I asked about it this week. So I'm assuming 5/8 is the start date. (With several TRU that just set them out for purchase early, in true TRU fashion.)
