Haven't seen any recently, but I plan on checkling again this Thursday. I've not seen any at the two TRU stores in my area. Ever.

April 14, 20169 yr Of course we all love the ease of just "showing" our phones, but I find my TRU's make fewer frowny faces when I print out several copies of that coupon. It seems the cashiers are instructed to take the coupon (any coupon) and put it in the drawer. This makes them happy. Never been asked where I got it. Except for when your store manager keeps a folder of valid vs. fake coupons. No joke

April 14, 20169 yr Just wanted to make certain: you are not able to first price match, then coupon, then 10% TRUTH, is that accurate? Just wanted to check before I go out this evening, thanks.

Just wanted to check before I go out this evening, thanks. That is the commonly correct answer achieved with standard cashier checkout. You might get lucky and find one determined to find some way to get them to combine, but that is a rare occurrence (and not what is "supposed" to happen based upon the fine print).
April 14, 20169 yr my TRU employees already thinking that's how original coupon looks like on a phone, ...lol
April 14, 20169 yr Bought at 229.9 ea before Jedi tricks ... Not worth the hassle over price adjusting in the long term
April 18, 20169 yr Anything else worth grabbing at 20 + 10 off on Thursday? I already have grabbed two Slaves and there are two more sitting there....

April 18, 20169 yr Picked up a couple of Slave 1 this weekend. Had $200 in reward points expiring in a couple of days, so was happy to see them on the shelves. Got one on my way to visiting family and picked the other up on the way back. I also grabbed the JW Indominus Rex figure for my son's birthday. He has all the others and he's been asking about this one for a while. Was $34.99, but got them to price match Amazon at $19.99. Overall, the Slave 1 and Dino cost me $3.98.

April 20, 20169 yr Quick question for the resellers/investing here. I was thinking of getting the toys r us credit card for the 10% off/reward points. Just wanted your guys opinion on the card. Normally I don't buy anything from toys r us because they are generally more expensive. Just wanted your thoughts on it.

It's a MasterCard so you can use it in other places, but the APR is high, so I would pay it off asap or finance charges will wipe out any rewards/savings.
April 20, 20169 yr I pay all my cards off statement by statement so I've never had any issue with interest. I was just wondering if people thought it was worth it. Was also going to do the BN thing I think it's 25 a year. Figured for each place I would visit I would get whatever savings card that location had. I need to do the debit card with Target to get that 5% off. Edited April 20, 20169 yr by Nsheppard9101
April 21, 20169 yr Just checking the correct order of operations for today's trek to TRU. I have $100 in rewards expiring. So TRU CC, then Gift Card, then rewards in order of payment? My store will no longer take the 20% coupons via phone
April 21, 20169 yr on the other hand, found 3 technic pickup trucks (42029) and got them out the door for less than $40 each after coupon/truth/rewards/discount gcs + 8% rewards for next time Edited April 21, 20169 yr by jerryherb
