Alternative view?

that's what i think after 24 hours:

- pretty cool little sets, i like it, something new

-demand not so good, AFOLs main target

-will be slow movers for now, may Be TLG will fix it with some promos and ads

- may be will do great after EOL...

btw sold 3x sets of 8 BH (brickheadz) last 24 hourz

The face reminds me a bit of Peabody & Sherman. Anyway nice box.

Not sure if these have been posted about here yet, but saw this and a couple other models at Walgreens this morning. Who is ripping off who here? da329af3649d59903812eb3ef6afbc70.jpg

Technically, MB was released first.  I think I saw them at TRU & Walmart late January (hence my comment upthread)

These were first shown at Toy Fair 2016.

Kubros were out last year. I believe that is already the 2nd wave!

Actually, they are on the third wave. You just reminded me that I took photos the other day but haven't posted them in the Megabloks thread yet.

Right.  These "big headed" models have been around a long time.

I dont know why but LEGO store limited brickheadz 2 per household, not 2 each like its used to be....you can buy just 2 not 10 as b4.

Anecdotally speaking I noticed today that the B&M shelves were filled equally with all these but the BELLE set was mostly gone and 2 of the people ahead of me in the cash line were buying this one...

Something to keep an eye on when the movie comes out in a few weeks.

Belle / Beast were shorter on the first shipment numbers I saw.

Batman Movie was about 1.5-2x the Marvel as well but they were selling faster too with the movie hitting about the same time

Kind of slow sellers, sold just 6 or 7, lot of 8 and 10...

Out of curiosity how do we find out how many were made for for SDCC last year. Some of mine says up to 1126. Safe to say 1,500? 2,000? Trying to get an idea and can't find anywhere that shows how many were made.

I kind of want to try my hand at a Star Wars MOC.

I love the full set of 12 that arrived the other day (with a London Bus!). These are starting to grow on me and this first wave (from LEGO) could do well. However, I'm now collecting these and they're going nowhere ;-)

Nothing speedy about that build video!
