Not sure if it's been mentioned, but there's a 20 points back on $40 promotion/coupon at Kmart.  Could be a good deal with the new Star Wars sets.  Additionally, the new sets aren't marked as Hot Buy, so you can stack additional dollar off coupons.

Has anyone else had surprise points converted to regular points?

This is the second time this has happened to me, I get a surprise points offer email, it adds to my account, then a day later vanishes. Hour later the exact amount of SPs that vanished are added to my account.

Not that I'm complaining, I don't mind getting 4,000 - 5,000 points added for no reason, they even stack with other SP offers.

Are these promotions typically one transaction per customer only or is it unlimited? 

Far as I can tell it is per transaction. There may be a cap somewhere however, but I can't find it in the fine print.

Surprise points worked fine for me. Make sure to apply the points BEFORE applying a payment method.

For some reason isn't working. I don't know if it's intentional or simply a glitch working on their favor. I tried several scenarios like using a $5 gift card from a $59 sub total leaving me above the $50 treshold for the points and didn't worked. What I can do is redeem my points without any problems. Sucks because I wanted to get rid of a couple of gift cards.
