They had these at my local Sainsburys for 50% off a few weeks back. One to avoid

I´d take them at that price if they retire in the summer. Any longer and it will be a case of Friends Treehouse investment disaster.

Got one for $32.00 at Walmart.

The price for this is all over the place right now.  Just this week I've seen:

It's been like that over here. I can't help but think it's another Cinderella's Romantic Castle. 

one walmart which is always the early oddball clearance store has it for $45.  i left them and checked the tracker when i got home - it was the only store that had that discount .  i didn't realize this was a $79.99 msrp otherwise i probably would have snagged them.  oh well. i might have to go back and (hopefully) get one so when my 8 year old asks for it next year i won't have to pay some reseller scum some outrageous price.

There are three of these at my local Wally World just marked down to $40....I'm still hesitating on pulling the trigger. Not sure of the long term outlook on this one, but maybe a good Christmas flipper? Maybe....just maybe.

I don't believe the series has taken off the way DC expected it to. I saw an article the other day that there are plans to retool it already (but the soft reboot sounds positive).

I know it was on my 9 year old's list. And there is a LEGO movie coming out soon. So there's still opportunity for this.

The second wave of sets may help boost this as well.

Cindy's castle was a bit weak when in stores, but it's doing very well for me now. Wish I had grabbed more.
The Frozen line I think is a better analogy.

Arendale is the weakest, Sparking Ice Castle is going ok, but they remade it.

41062 (ice castle) is approaching $35 on BL, retail $40

41068 (Arendale) is approaching $40, retail $60

At $30 they're drying up in SoCal. I was at two different Walmart's that had shelf tags at 30 and empty spots.

A few Target stores near me have it for $39.98 clearance since last week, and it's still not moving after almost a week.  

I really think the demand for this set is very low.
