I've recently been on the hunt for rare star wars minifigures, not for investment purporses but manily to add more depth to my collection.

On my journey I have paid up to $100 NZD for a used SW053 Jango Fett & nearly $80 NZD for a used Zam Wessel.

Recently purchased a brand new sealed retired set 9499 Gungan Sub because it was cheapest way to obtain a brand new sealed SW387 Queen Amidala.

Darth Malgus is another bad ass looking investment minifig.

Polybags are getting up there too, e.g Darth Revan and Chrome Vader and Stormtrooper are commanding high price points.

So my question is how much would you pay for a starwars minfig?

How many of you have all the cloud city figs? or that exclusive chrome C3PO?

Excluding Star Wars, I did pay £500 for Lester and flipped him the next day for a big profit.

i purchased a 2nd hand jabba's palace for £100 so I could have Boushh sat on my desk. Thought it was better value than £30 for her alone.

Also did the same with the cantina for greedo.£75

I'd be willing to buy a c3po or chrome Vader, but I'd get them third party graded for long term storage and guaranteed authenticity.

I think the most I would spend on a single figure would be about $20. However I think I'd rather just wait until the character I want appears again.

Was trying to buy some SDCC marvel stuff the other day and got outbid on each one. Something about paying over 300 for one minifigure is a hard sell for me. That being said I bid 285 for each of the 3. Got outbid and they went for mid to high 300s.
