10179 remake put them over the edge.

LEGO is a big ship. No way Padda had enough time to steer it much in any direction. Something else must have happened.

Can't be that big of an issue. The transition does not happen until Oct 1. If there is bad blood then the move would happen much quicker.

And he wouldn't have retained a high-level position. 

I guess they were tempted by another national guy with no previous Lego experience to "think outside the box like JVK 2.0".

It's certainly interesting they have changed two key positions in one year and that the two previous CEOs are still going to have paychecks and bonuses for some time to come. I guess that's where the money from the new UCS Falcon will be going.

Looking forward to the 2017 1HY results next month.
