75105 (MF) on George at £79 atm. Almost 40% off.

Likely this one will be around a while and probably stocked to high heaven but good price for a personal build/xmas gift.

That George bloke needs a slap, he's taken up most of the storage space I have! ;-)

I bought 11x MF when they were £76 last week but, I still expect them to sell out soon at £79.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

And Amazon appear not to want to price match him either. At 79 quid I´d be in for 3.

They will.  It just usually takes them a little while to react.

They seem to do it in stages.  It's the same whenever they start price matching Smyths, seems to trickle through.

Do John Lewis ever do any Lego sales, been watching them for a while and never noticed one?

I've seen them price match other retailers on occasions but never done anything like a full blown "20%" off or something similar as far as i know.

Best bet is to keep an eye on their site.

Favourited, plus they ship to Spain. Lewis´s have never been great for in-store sales, dunno about on their web.

They have done in the past.  Most notably the Christmas sets in June and a few EOL themes (Hobbit / LOTR the last ones I recall).  But I haven’t seen anything this year.  The simply haven’t needed to shift stock.  Good for price matching as they tend to have decent stock levels and no limits.

John Lewis sometimes have the 10% off all LEGO sale around Xmas. This is when I bought my modular Fire Brigades for £89.99. Their prices are often competitive and adjusted to match other retailer as part of their "never knowingly undersold". When Argos (the ones that trample and throw sets about) have offers, I give it a day or so and then check to see who matches them.

yep, ordered the Disney Castle (as a gift) and got 699 VIP Points + London bus promo

Placed same order in the UK just after midnight and got my double points but there was no mention on site about the offer.

Any sign of double VIP for anyone?

Yeah, about 10h ago.

Same here - don't see anything advertised but when I checked out looks like its live.

Actually if I go to my VIP account page and click on the promotions link there is a page displayed there - just not highlighted on the main site yet but it is live.

I'll wait for the Holiday Countdown Calendar promo in combination with the Double VIP promo. ;)

Think the calendar will do better than the bus?

is anyone having problems placing online orders? when I try to process order it comes up with unexpected problem, please contact customer services. Has been like this since the new site came live.

I've had it a few times on my phone but then other times orders have gone straight through without issue.

On a seperate note going back to Asda prices I'm amazed that Amazon still aren't price matching many of the prices. Usually they match within hours.

Just recieved my Kaufhof Order from Tuesday Night.

Porsche in original Lego Outerbox 229 €

Tie Fighter was a little bit damaged for 136 €

and looser of the packing was claas xerion for 103 € , but ok for personal build.

Sorry to go OT but when do Tesco next convert points to vouchers? Is it the end of this month? Or does it vary for each  individual?

Tesco typically convert points to vouchers at beginning of next quarter. I won't get mine until December! You need to allow for a 3-4 month wait on average and points above 30,000 are lost. I'm at 34,660 so lose £46.60 ;-(

LEGO Star Wars 75156 Krennic's Imperial Shuttle now at £63.97 (price matching Asda) on Amazon (Prime) if that helps anyone ?
Think the price matching may be starting... :-)

Re: Lego Double VIP points

I want to order the UCS Tie and currently have £50 in points, am I better waiting until Black Friday / Cyber Monday to purchase?  The double points will only net me £10 which I can only use on another purchase.  Not that bothered whether I get the bus or calender.
