October 7, 20169 yr If you often need gifts for cousins, there is a duplo x4 VIP points together with large discounts in LEGO Shop at Home in the Netherlands (don't know about others). I put in two rders slightly above 55 euro to get the London Bus two times as well. Next to this, they give a Duplo gift. Some deals also give a 50% reduction on price on Duplo items.
October 7, 20169 yr Poe's X wing back down to £40.39 on Amazon, with no requirement for Amazon Prime. It appears to be an Amazon Warehouse deal. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00SDTTJLQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1475822623&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=lego+star+wars&dpPl=1&dpID=51tkhdBF57L&ref=plSrch Edited October 7, 20169 yr by Blockbuster

When will it break the €1,10 per pound? Still no word on the Star Wars or Friends Advents I ordered, half expecting these to be cancelled too.

Still recall Jeremy Clarkson talking about the cost of a supercar in Euros and then converting it into exactly the same amount in pounds. Next step is parity GBP USD. October 7, 20169 yr And people are still saying Brexit has had no effect. Every time I think about it i just picture this.
October 7, 20169 yr I remember back around 1984/85 when GBP=USD and about 7/8 years ago when GBP nearly = EUR. The negative feelings around brexit is great news for currency speculators and a buddy of mine has cleared over £20K in profit since the vote. I've done a bit of trading myself but, not confident to go the whole hog so I'm only earning pocket money. I personally think that EUR will really crash big time once another EU country leaves (probably Denmark and what will that do to LEGO prices?) and Greece is bailed out again. The USD will be safe, provided that the Yellowstone Caldera doesn't pop! ;-) I'm hoping that the UK will end up like CH as they've done fine without the EU.

May or may not be Soros, but it does looks like a deliberate action to trigger stops, barriers and options. 1 hour ago, Blockbuster said: Just got an e-mail from Boots they cancelled the 2 Lego City Advent Calendars I ordered - sent the Playmobil Advent Calendar I ordered for my niece though. Although they've sent my 3* 75111 Vader for £40, so I’m not complaining too much.

They will do fine - this is the main fear for German politics who try every time to say the German folks how bad the Brexit is for you. Unfortunally for them the people here begin not to believe it - high time. In my opinion the current German councelar is the worst thing which has happened to Europe - but there are still so many naive people and other politicians who still strongly believe in her decisions...

I have a lot of respect for Germany but, I agree, they could've done with a better leader (and us too!). I admit that it was a factor in my voting decision.

That's one advantage of Brexit ;-) BTW... That Fire Truck ain't a bad deal. However, I bought 12 when Asda had them for £16.00. Large(ish) CITY vehicles seem to do well and this should be gone by next year.

Yeah but we actually have the advantage because using Fenix´s tip of buying UK gift cards and paying in Euros, we can take advantage of a good spot rate whenever we want down the line. You guys can only undercut selling while the pound stays low. Edited October 7, 20169 yr by Val-E
