In SAH Switzerland there is no information regarding the London Bus. After a while I figured out, you have to buy for over CHF 100 (appr. EUR 90) to get a free bus. How much do you have to spend in your countries?

CH SAH also sucks.

55 euros

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

In NL the website sucks as well. Unbelievable amateurish. I got the London Bus but probably didn't get the points. Got myself the T1 Van...Always wanted to have this.

LEGO LEGO Shop at Home rule: You will only be credited with the VIP points when LEGO has shipped the item and has received the payment.

If you were signed in as VIP, then you will only get the VIP points after the order has left the Warehouse and is on its way to you, provided you paid through Credit Card. And take 24 hours as well before they show up on your VIP points balance.

If you weren't signed in as VIP member while you made the order, just contact customer service and they will retroactively credit the VIP points to your balance. Provided the condition of the aforementioned LEGO LEGO Shop at Home rule is fulfilled. :)

Well, that sucks ... for people in Switzerland.

I´d rather have a Swiss salary than a Spanish one and pay 100 CHF to get the bus, wouldn´t you?

They´ll be on Ebay for a dime a dozen, by the end of the week in any case.

Mmm ... we're moving on thin ice here. ;-) Not all people have those salaries. Besides, the ones that have, probably wouldn't care about the minimum purchase prices.

So TLG regional pricing department clearly apply the same flawed stereotypes as I do!

I wasn't planning on buying anything right now as was waiting for double VIP, however seems like alot of items are going to back order now. Think I might go ahead and order some things i think will be good qf for xmas.

Only if you were planning to order sets priced higher than €200 (or equivalent in GBP) then the double VIP is worth more than the €10 direct discount + 5% VIP that you get now (until tomorrow evening). ;)

Is it only double VIP over €200?

If so will definitely buy now then, I'm trying to not buy any exclusives as goes against my plan.

No, but right now you've still got the 10€ code. Once 2xvip starts, the code is no longer valid so it's either 2x vip or 10€ off + 1xvip.

2xvip is essentially 10% discount so it's only better than 5% (standard vip points) and 10€ combo once you get above 200€.

For items less than 200€ it's better to get them now.

The 10% code only works once by the looks of things and based on what's happened to a work colleague of mine they limit it by IP address. A work colleague of mine is thoroughly annoyed that Lego won't let her use the code despite the fact she's not placed any other orders.  I'm guessing because we're on the same wifi network it classes my purchase and hers as the same household.

Lego being too smart for their own good, she's ready to tear them a new a###hole seen as they won't explain how they've come to their conclusion.

I think it's impossible to buy true "exclusives" anyway as every Tom, Dlck & Harry are selling them also. The last ones I recall are the Mars Rover & Research Institute.

Limit by IP and not by user name? I was able to use it twice (at home and at work) with the same user name...

Have both your orders been dispatched?

Alot of people have been saying they have had their orders cancelled when using the code more than once.

Yeah I had a second order canceled but as I say someone else in office tried to place an order after I told her about the discount code and her order got canceled despite her last ordering anything in June. She explained that to Lego but they've refused to reinstate the order but not given any explanation as to why either.

Are resellers such a threat to Lego that they're prepared to annoy genuine customers?

Holiday train ordered but will have to wait till November as the Power Functions motor is oos, I'd hardly be building it before then anyway though

Well the AT-ST is backordered... but the other filler stuff (keychain) and the bus are in warehouse so I guess it worked??

That's just plain silly. But is it such a big deal? Can't she just order at home?

I assume not as they'll have flagged her account as having used the code now.

Haay thanks for the info about the VIP points (I'm a newbie :) )

the first time I logged on to the website they showed the Swiss site..I had to change region. Furthermore when I paid with creditcard it seemed a non secure website, I saw no lock icon in my browser.

Talking about how an EU wide Lego code can be used/not used is hardly off topic

And let's face it, this thread is a lot easier to watch than the ones that have 90% US centric posts even if they are about sets I may want. Am I really bothered what the seal numbers on SC sets TRU are shipping in the USA?

I´d say it goes better in SAH October thread and leave this one for the actual new deals. In any case, it´s over tomorrow.

I can now confirm that two of my orders where I used the code have been dispatched.
