One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

No mate seems to be OOS throughout the whole of the NW.

How is the packing of TRU Uk? Is it worth ordering or is it a risk in receiving smashed cartons?

My experience has been hit and miss. I had some badly damaged Tower Bridges and other large sets. To be honest their packaging was better than Lego.com Shop - I just think they were in that condition when they were packed which is poor. I just don't think TRU UK take care of their Lego inventory that well. That goes for their stores as well not just online. My Lego.com Shop are always in pristine condition.

Only UK store I’ll not order from, unless it’s for a personal build.  No way for investment and I’m generally fine moving slightly damaged boxes.

I was in john lewis today and noticed the star scavenger, thought i give the price match a go and manage to get it!

There were 4 in shelf, only took 2 as didn't want to push my luck as was sold out in argos.

Can someone else verify what i'm seeing here?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00SDTTJLQ/ref=sr_1_2_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1473022934&sr=8-2&keywords=lego+75094&condition=new

Top listing for £34 quid....

New
Attention ! Without original packaging, parts still welded, Lego Compatible

Hmm, that doesn't look too good - I'm taking it that 'welded' just means assembled, but the 'compatible' should ring plenty of alarm bells. I've already stocked up on the item... however, amazon's own price of £44.99 isn't too bad!

That's naughty, I can see an awful lot of returns for Amazon to deal with there

It's not fulfilled by Amazon so the seller will deal returns themself.

The exact opposite of a deal this, but interesting all the same, Amazon UK's cheap Poe's X-Wing is no more, sad day :crying:

About damn time. The falcon is gone as well. I have a feeling they will be back soon enough though.

Only time will tell. And only after official EOL of those Star Wars sets will we be able to see how much 'damage' this long running sale has done to the reseller market...

Still plenty of LEGO sales with > 30% discount at Amazon UK: https://www.brickwatch.net/nl-NL/site/24/sets/1/goedkoopste

Same here :D

51 % on the Hulk Buster also gone...But to much doubts about that one. Only in for 2

I stopped buying Poe's X-wing ages ago when it ended up permanently discounted and the other model came out. It's going to be a dud.

I think the 45% discount was an excellent price to buy in on this one. I bought myself quite some as I think it is a pretty iconic set.

With the Dutch Lego tax and paying in Euros, it was a good deal, even allowing for shipping. For those with lower RRP´s, it probably wasn´t such a great deal, especially with the blue one providing an easy replacement.

You mean £45 (36%)? I don't think it was ever at 45% on amazon.

Meanwhile it's back at 36% again to pre-order for 19th Sep.

My first post. For the Dutch guys: you will get 10 euro discount when using the code NL10 if you buy for more than 40 euro of Lego on the official Lego site.

I think if any set has been over-horded recently, it's probably this one

For what it's worth 10249 Winter Toy Shop is at 59,99€ on Amazon.de

Saw on Bricklink that somebody is selling 377 Toy shops for 65 euro, so not likely to rise anytime soon.
