For UK folks, asda are currently reducing alot of sets instore, most of these deals are store specific so might be a wild goose chase, i managed to pickup the following:

75088: Senate Commando Troopers - £5.40 - 55% off

75099: Rey's Speeder - £13.40 - 33% off

60107: Fire Ladder Truck - £9 - 50% off

They had a few more city sets but they were the small £5 sets, can't remember what price they were marked down

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

ToysRus.de and .at LEGO Angry Birds sets with -30% plus 3€ discount with this code:  9900000070618. End tomorrow (17th Aug)

Spiderman battle bridge on sale at Tesco to £75, but they are also offering £10 off when spending £75 reducing it to £65. A good price for a new set if you want it for a personal build.

Amazon Uk have the Arocs 42043 for 110 quid (33% off). Converted into euros/USD that´s a good deal. 42009 could be had for 99 back in the day so it won´t get much cheaper.

Tesco instore are clearing down some stock.  Picked up a General Grievous at £15 and a couple of droid escapes and Ray speeders at £10 each last night.  I wouldn’t go out of my way, but if you’re passing.  Expect different stores will have different clearance items.

Carbon freezers are doing the rounds at £10 too.

It is store specific as my local tesco has grevious for £20, Ray speeder £15.40

Tesco are selling resistance Troop Transporter for £32.50, it says £39 on tag but scans at £32.50.

Interesting, it's a really good price but there doesn't seem be many taking the bait. Clicked on this when I got into the office at 9am and they had 79 available, still have 79 available.

Too soon for resellers, too late for a lot of Technic nuts like me who got it when it came out.

next month

Will Smyths raise all of their prices to RRP prior to the sale commencing so to limit the size of the overall discount?

Last year what ever items were reduced the previous day, were still reduced for the 20% off sale.

Correct me if I wrong, but I think that means there are 79 different users/third party sellers that are 'offering' this item.  Amazon being one of them hence they are now at the top of the list as the cheapest, the next one after that being £152.95 from Jadlam.  If we are looking at the same thing, that 79 new from £109.95 has nothing to do with Stock control? @Sprocket77

I've taken a closer look, I think you're right... In that case it just shows 'in stock'
