Sorry taking this a little off topic, in fact this is the exact opposite of a deal, but has anyone in Europe been able to get the London Bus promo. It shows if I change my location to the US, but no sign of it in the few European sites I've tried? Would be very disappointed with Lego if they let us down on this.

I'm sure it'll pop up in a while. They tend to be a bit tardy on LEGO Shop at Home. I think there's different teams handling the US and EU websites.

What was the last major promo that was US exclusive?

just popped into my local sainsburys. They had the first order battle pack at half price. £12 reduced to £6! I picked up 4 for now but may get a few more later in week. Its not a major set but at 50% off a nice little investment with 4 decent minifigures.

I managed to pick up the last few MMT from my local TRU aswell few months back at 33% off. Seems like the going rate for eol sets.

 

However it seems like 75058 MMT will take a lone time to appreciate in value. I myself was quite dissapointed in the set as it is alot smaller than the previous MMT set 7662. Should reach double RRP BY next year end, seems like there's not a lot for sale in UK eBay aswell, only 5 on right now going for >£100

Do you guys think we'll get it much lower than this at some point? I kind of want to pick some up because it's a nice set, but I get the feeling RRP is too high and they will be consistently sold at a lower price like Poe's X-Wing and Imperial Shuttle Tydirium.

Bide your time - it´s a brand new set. By this time next year it should have been at least 40% reduced.

Is there a specific thread to talk about European Amazon sites or just here is fine?

For the past year (that's my history here :-) ) I used to buy most of my LEGO from amazon.de and amazon.co.uk, A couple of months ago they stopped shipping to me. From their policies page I can see that they no longer ship outside Europe. I'm looking for some more information on that and of alternative major online stores in EU or US other than BL that would offer occasional good deals and global shipping.
