Tesco club card points on Lego at the moment: 500 with a £30 spend, 1000 with £60. Over £60 qualifies for both so £15 worth of points to be had. Time to get my Scooby Lighthouses.

It'd be good if it was a proportional offer like 5000 points for a £300 spend and so on. However, it's good if you only need a couple of sets. I also keep an eye out for the Clubcard Boost also. At least with Tesco I can use Click & Collect to check boxes first as there's an Express at the end of my road. I had to resort to delivery with Argos, never again!

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Do you only get the 1,500 promo on one order or can you put multiple orders through for £60?

you can do multiple orders of £60, tried it and got email stating 1500 bonus points

Clubcard boost will still be on in the future for days out/ events etc

great value as you can get cinema tickets / amusements parks for 4x value

You can do it multiple times

I tried that a while back and got the subsequent orders cancelled, maybe I went in too big?

Now I'm torn, have had my spending periods for the rest of the year planned out, August LEGO Shop at Home for the London Bus promo, September Smyths 20% off sale for some of the exclusives, October into November double VIP and Christmas promos, with some Littlewoods 3 for 2's thrown in later in the year too.

Why would another store then give me some decent buying options. Cheek of them.

You can also order in store at tesco customer services if they don't have item in store.

You will pay for item get receipt in hand so you can check.

Just don't order thTabbyBoy quantity i.e. pallet load :P

Was showing 1,500 points in my basket.

Some of the prices have gone up in the last half hour, IST has gone up from £64 to £80.

Oh. It's says 1000 in the website, I havnt added anything to basket though. Strange

It's 500 points for over £30 spend, 1,000 points for over £60 spend, stupid Tesco gives you both, because obviously you have spent £30 and £60.

I see you mentioned Littlewoods. I hope the Irish version isn't the same as the UK version where they massively inflate RRP before discounting - be careful ;-)

Since Argos yanked my chain pretty hard this morning, I'm going to have some non-retail therapy for a while and just order a couple of big sets from LEGO once good promos and 2xVIP arrive.

Got my At-At's for €73 each last November, so did alright. They're usually inflated, just need to find the sets which have been already discounted before the 3 for 2.

Not a deal as such but I was surprised to see these on the shelves of my locals smyths toys today.

Not listed online....yet. But I'm earmarking as a potential buy during a smyths 20% day if they repeat one in the near future.

LOL - game over for QFLLs?

Cant seem to get the tesco points deal working. When I add £60 worth of lego it only adds 500 bonus points. Tried with different sets and different web browsers. Any ideas?

Yes, I noticed it when placing my 10th order of the evening (see buy today thread). My other 9 orders show "confirmed" with 1500 points each. Apparently Tesco are working on the glitch so it looks like it'll soon be 500 or 1000 not both. I'll be right on the phone if they refuse the extra points as it's their cock-up not mine. I could really do without the disappointment after Argos.

I noticed that Tesco's checkout was very slow so it looks like a lot were filling their boots. Shame as I was far from done!

Has anyone looked at the littlewoods lego sale? Kylo rens shuttle down to 100 from 130! IST down to 80 from 100!

I'd like to see how TLG would react to that, shocking!

Almost as bad as my local hamleys, where there prices are at least 10-20% above lego RRP, my local still has 5 lone ranger silver mines for sale! They only recently reduced them to RRP price of £69.99

Its only RRP so not sure they are actually doing anything lawfully wrong? They are stocking the Resistance fighter at £99.99 which is also £20.00 higher then SAH.  I think the law states as long at the item has been up for sale at some point at the higher price is can be classed as 'on sale' when being reduced, even if the reduced price is effecitvely RRP !! Its just a sales technique used against the unknowing.  But I do agreee, Its ridiculous really, not many people use Littlewoods for Lego at the best of times, especially if their prices are 20% higher then SAH, but I do feel sorry for those that maybe looking to buy someone a gift and think they are getting a good price as they don't know any better.  Hamleys and Harrods all do the same.  It may be worth an email to littlewoods saying they are being 'mis-leading', they may give you a few quid off an order, which will only bring it down to RRP !!! HAHA

I'm confused, I thought Very.co.uk was the new Littlewoods and their prices aren't too bad. Compare the two websites and you'll see what I mean.
