Not Lego but very cheap 4 shelf galvanized steel shelving from homebase. £7.92. Looks like it would do the trick. You'll have to check for stock locally online

I bought one of these recently. You would think that you can't go wrong at the price, but the quality is bad, even for less than £8!

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Yeah I haent ordered one yet, but was going to monday. Any good for the light sets?

Today, Galeria Kaufhof offers 15% off Angry Birds sets and 13% off Creator sets (includes Palace Cinema (113,09€), Detective's Office, Ferris Wheel, Changing Seasons (34,79€) and Corner Deli (26,09€) plus newly released sets like Vacation Getaways (47,84€), Lighthouse Point (39,14€) and Treehouse Adventures). The Big Bang Theory is also priced at 13% off RRP.

I was in Smyths at the weekend it just seems to be an event to launch new sets.  I guess the sales on older sets will be further down the line.

Ebay.es are giving selected users a 15% off coupon for purchases over 150 euros until Wednesday. Expect the market to be flooded with Tumblers and Xwings!

£5 off £20 spend at Smyths from 27th to 30th May using code smy5

Cheers.  And I'm guessing amazon will drop there prices as well once the voucher kicks in like they did last time.

Asda direct have discounts on Scooby, Mystery Machine at £24 and Mystery Mansion at £56. Not quite as good as the last few offers, but with Asda you can buy in quantity and they’ll be shipped well packaged.  They also have Raptor Rampage at £40, not stunning but I haven’t seen much in the way of discounts on this.

Question for you folks who use/read this thread. Would there be any advantage to having a stickied "Daily Deals" post at the top of each page as for the USA/Canada thread?

If yes, which major retailers would you like to see listed? Any specific programs (such as TRUTH at TRU in the US) to highlight? Please feel free to respond here. If the discussion becomes too lengthy, we can move it but I wanted to reach as many European/UK/Other members as possible.

The market is probably too spread out over here for that to work. You'd probably end up needing a UK thread, German thread etc.

This thread is pretty good once it's kept on track, it tends to lose it's way sometimes because it ends up being a catch all European thread rather than just a deals thread.

Agree. When Brickpickers here discuss a deal in a local store that doesn't ship across the border, it's pretty useless for most other Europeans following this topic. Typical examples are Asda in the UK, Galeria Kaufhof in Germany ...

+1. Until there comes a time we have enough members for each country, it´s fine like it is.

Agree with the comments that this thread does a decent job, as I, along with many others in the UK regularly buy from mainland Europe.

However, what would be good is to have a specific UK/Europe/other  thread, as the former is totally US centric. this would also be a great place for the comments that can spill over on this thread to be posted in.

+ There's the fact that we here in Belgium can buy Lego from Holland, France, Germany & UK. So a European daily deal topic is much more interesting for us.

Mytoys.de have a deal going on where they give a discount based on the temperature in Berlin at 1pm each day. Today's discount is 19%, supposed to be warmer there tomorrow though if you want to hold off for a better discount.

Discount is on top of any other reductions, good price on the Volvo L350F Wheel Loader or the Mercedes-Benz Aroc if anyone's after them.

I wish shops applied that type of promotion here in Spain!

Me too, it's a pretty novel but clever promotion. At least they're one of the companies who sell overseas and have reasonable shipping.

Now there's the gamble, take the 19% in the hand today, or wait until tomorrow when the forecast is supposed to be 23 degrees at 1pm

yeah it's a good deal.
But unfortunately they don't give the discount on all items.. Let's hope that a few good deals can be made the next days ;)

Also Ebay.de has a promotion for only 5€ max. fees till 12.06.2016. (Link inside)
