One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

I spent a good 45 minutes yesterday trying to track them down/ask staff where they were/wait while they looked etc in just one store. Couldn't find them anywhere. A woman then came in looking for them, made sure I stayed close for if they found them but still no luck. All my local stores are out so doubt its worth trying further a field.

Managed to find some.  Bought 20 more and left some for someone else.

Some sainsburys stores put their clearance in very strange places. In this case in the middle of the homeware's section, well away from the Lego.

Just have a good walk around your local store and if you can't see them just ask customer services.  Sainsburys won't care now, they just want rid so they aren't taking up space.

Not to detract from the £1 chicken men! Very now has 3 for 2 on the ninjago flight of destinys bounty, Star Wars imperial shuttle and Death Star duel and the attack on avengers tower.

With the 20% discount this makes them pretty much half price and you can also get an additional 20% if your a new customer.

Good spot, they're not showing up as 3 for 2 until you have them in your basket. Damn I bought the Imperial Shuttle and Death Star duel a couple of weeks ago when they were 3 for 2.

Think there was an error on their system, the sale and 3 for 2 shouldn't have been up at the same time. I put 3 shuttles into my basket, went away for a bit and came back and they were 3 for 2, but the sale discount had disappeared. So you now go in there and the sale is over, but the 3 for 2's are still there. Shouldn't have hesitated I guess.

Yes looks like the offers shouldn't have been on at the same time. Just managed to get 3 of the Death Star duals @ £112 - hope the order isn't cancelled.

The 20% off at Very has now gone (as previously noted), and I just opened a new account to see what happens with the 3for2's and the 20% for new accounts does not apply as The promotion code cannot be used as another promotion has been applied "!

Still can get 11% via a CB site, but now not so sure if it's all worth it.

Has anyone spotted the rumoured 33% off new Batman city chase and Marvel Crossbones sets in sainsburys yet? 13.33 down from 20.

With the double up promotion currently running 4000 nectar points could net you 3 brand new sets for nowt at the moment.

I just spent the morning visiting 3 sainsburys stores in the local area to me (NW England).  None of them had City Chase and none had Crossbones.

They have Crossbones in my local one in the NW but still scanning at full price.

Quite often I find my local store is not reflecting the apparently 'national' price.

I bought 8 Really Useful Boxes 64 litres from B&Q and spent yesterday evening sorting out my stock inventory in the loft. The fact that I can stack them 4 high really helps and they are great for storing Architecture sets. I'm kind of running out of space and so I'm going to be taking a break from purchasing unless some absolute bargains come along.

Just wanted to check something. Is it okay to store the Architecture sets stacked vertically but on the short side and not the long side if you know what I mean? They seem to have a stronger box than other sets.

Didn't find these but they had 75136 - Droid escape pod for £13.33 and 75871 - Ford GT for £8.87. Also managed to grab a couple of chicken guys for £1 each.

Sovendus worked so you could get it for 100,44E ;)

I was just wondering what the markup was on Lego? Does it vary geographically and how does the UK / Europe compare to the US and the rest of the world? Does the markup vary between themes?
