I notice that Amazon has order limit on Lego sets. I wonder if this restriction was imposed by TLG.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

You´re welcome. They also have Tydrium at a sensible price (72 euros) but still over my buy-in target in current market conditions.

Tydirium at €72 is a very sensible price indeed, especially in The Netherlands where the RRP is at €109,99.

If I stil had spare budget and spare storage space I'd buy some for that price. Unfortunately I'm kinda maxed out at both (budget and storage space :jester:).

Interesting.  Toys r us is still allowing whatever quantity you want.

I usually try adding 500 of an item to basket and it then comes back with an error telling you the stock level if its below that.   They had 380 odd Ecto 1's in stock yesterday.

So, I posted before about the TRU £10 Lego voucher when you spend 40 on Lego. Well apparently this is doubling up with the spend 40 on anything at toys r us and get £10 voucher in stores (not sure if this will work online as you don't get vouchers until end of period so difficult to say). I have tested this in store though and it does work. The till staff don't seem to realise but tell them to look at the receipt and it will show both vouchers.

Can you stack those £10 vouchers into single purchase or do you need to spend them separately?

It calls them both gift cards and doesn't mention one per transaction on the Lego ones so it looks like they can be stacked. However the generic TRU ones are 1 per transaction.  Obviously the gift cards can only be used once this promo has finished.

Neither to Italy

Really? It does say they deliver to Italy & Poland (+ a third country... possibly Belgium-?) on the web site.

But when you try to choose the country there are only belgium and nl

Just got a First Order TIE and both the voucher cards say "limit one promotional gift card per transaction on redemption."

Sounds like we r on the same boat then, buddy ;)

Ah balls yeah your right. I was looking for it on the same line as it was on standard tru ones and somehow missed the fact it was further down.  Ah well I'll still be able to make use of them on smaller sets. Got all the microfighters and mighty micros to collect.

3 for 2 at Tesco Direct

Ecto-1 already rinsed but some great prices to be had on already-reduced products such as Shuttle Tydirium the First Order TIE. I bought 3 x shuttles and 3 x Rey's Speeder, ending up pretty much 50% RRP on all of them.

Man, that's a very nice price on the Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion with this deal (55,4€), I wish it could be delivered over here...

Too much choice, not enough funds, dammit to hell :help:

Just spotted this on hotdeals so stock is going to go fast.  hit my bite point for the shuttles (only last week i was saying i was holding out for £42!) so picked up three of those plus three general grievous models.  both of which already had reduced prices so this is a double bargain

just wondering what else to go for.  leaning towards the jurassic world sets. maybe prison island but not sure how collectable that would be as i generally keep away from city sets

Pulled the trigger on the shuttle tydirium and wall-e. Also thinking of doing the same on the Indominus Rex. Expensive morning so far
