One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

No interest to me was my statement, if you want HP sets then dive in!

Curious as to why you are not interested in them. Too soon? Too hoarded?

I picked up a couple of potter sets but am wondering if I should have done an arm sweep.

Will these be a good investment is the question and I'm really not sure.

Looking back, I wish I'd arm swept more with the LotR sets as they're going well now compared to the price paid.

Retiring 2020 so 50% off HP is still a better option.

Depends on bagging the right sets, the ones not been over produced, not being hauled in mass etc. Im sure you will do fine.

Happy 2020!

LM2 sets at 70% off in Debs. They had tonnes of the 2 sets but nothing very exciting. I passed.

According to HUKD Sainsburys now have quite a few decent reductions. Worth heading over there if you live close. For me 20 miles is too far as HUKD basically kills all stock before I could even get there in time lol.

IWOOT are selling 42097 Technic Cranes for £52.50 each (RRP £79.99) if you enter LEGO20 in your basket, plus TCB are giving 5% back for new customer toy purchases (3% if existing). Presuming that tracks, that knocks them below £50 each. These are now marked as retiring soon on LEGO Shop at Home, which may not mean too much given that those tags can come with duplicitous intent, but may mean it's going this summer rather than waiting until Christmas.

The LEGO House Architecture set (21037) is available for backorder from LEGO Shop at Home - limit 1. No discount but given the recent sale prices that hardly matters.

Technic Corvette ZR1s (42093) are available at Argos for £24 each (40% off) if you don't mind risking some box damage. I just bought 3, and two are fine while one has a small ding on the top.

anyone know if you buy something from lego shop when an offer is on, if you buy something the next day you get offer again?

If you mean a freebie when you buy over a certain amount, usually the trick is to wait for previous order to change to "in warehouse" or "shipped" before placing another order.
