Literally nothing in mine. Someone has even cleaned out the Uni Shitty stuff.

Loads of empty Lego shelves filled with the Disney princess doll set.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Guys... These comments are meaningless unless we are told which end of the country these deals are at. HUKD is full of trolls (I used to be one) and most of the posts are lies.

Where... in that UK branch about 4 hours away near where somebody else lives?

My "spies" state that Reading (x2), Chineham, Sandhurst, Bracknell, Wokingham, Byfleet, Staines & Guildford have nothing worth making a detour for. Any news from Maidenhead, Henley or Slough?

Anything in Sunbury?

Tesco prices are national the vast, vast majority of the time. Not like every Sainsburys or ASDA deal that are as goosey as they get.

I went on a goose chase to my largest Tesco on Saturday and the shelves were bare. I spoke to one of the night managers. He said that stock was allocated externally and he had no idea often what was coming in - other than to say it was a line that needs clearing to make way for new stuff. I guess each store has their own computerised algorithm - the more space and capacity a store has, then it is bumped up to get more stock. I love those end of aisles spaces that change merchandise weekly.

Also Tesco management are known to promote their stuff on HDUK to get the punters in.

Pretty sure that Tesco is Lego's preferred supplier to make room quickly in the SAH warehouse.  Argos is the substitute. The SAH guys on the phone often tell me the warehouses are full and stuff needs to be moved around. This is why some surprising sets have been cleared. All conjecture of course.

Sainsburys - Calcot, Reading.

All decent sets look sold out. Loads of retired 21138 Minecraft Melon Farm sets left at £6.50.

Various Marvel sets at half price, nothing special.

Picked up two Iron man Brickheadz that were hid, both scanned at £5 so I thought I'd grab them.

So unless you need loads of Minecraft Melon Farm sets at half price not worth a visit.

I live in Burghfield Common and occasionally help with MS Society collections on Sat/Sun mornings at that branch.. I did swing by the toy aisles before Xmas and didn't see anything worth taking. That reminds me, I need to find my Nectar card so that I can scan again.

There were Jedi Starfighters (£45) and Dieselnauts (£44) in Tesco Castlereagh last night, about four of each, plus a load of Unikitty sets. Just left them

Is that a Superstore or an extra?

Superstore.

Is that the Ballygomartin one? Gives me hope that the Superstore near me still showing loads of stock actually has them at least.

No, it's the other side of the river, Castlereagh Road

Cheers, found it. App showing only 1-2 of each in stock and no sales for yesterday. Tesco stock control is shocking!

You mention an App. Is that an in-house Tesco App or one available to all?

Staff only under pain of death.

Shame. Our local Extra is pants for Lego and I can't be bothered going on a wild goose chase.

I agree. I only go to the LEGO aisles if I'm already there for something else or have 15min spare when I'm driving past. No more out-of-the-way journeys for me unless there's a confirmed pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Out of the nine stores I visit regularly only two have any deals worth talking about, and thats because of the lower footfall in those stores, just a pity they are in completely opposite directions.

HP Hermione BH's £5.23 asda in store

Which suburb of Timbuktu is that? ?

Farnborough had one at £9.98, but smashed box, easy pass.

Managed to get 7 in Asda for £4.67 and 4 in Tesco for £6.50 over Christmas.

I thought Asda kept the prices the same across all their stores. Don't know why I thought that!

I’ve yet to go to a supermarket that DOES keep prices consistent across stores, hence wild geese. TBH... if these deals were online, they’d be gone within the hour.

Whiskas cat food in Asda Farnborough & Lower Earley are different prices too! Head office sets price guidelines and local managers adjust within these.

The old fishing store appears to be available in Symths again. Mainly in the North of England though.

Farnborough had one on Friday, but box was nasty.

Oop North... Where all the Hot UK Deals are! ;-(
