I put in 4 orders of 4 (£314) with cash back which made each set £20, then I had a free classic pack with each order worth £20. Each of the 3 in 1 packs was in it's own shipping box.

Collected them 12 days ago and sold them all for £39.95 and the last classic pack sold yesterday for £19.95 too.

Worked out around £13 per box profit shipped and all I had to do with stick a label on them and take them to Hermes with the rest of my orders.

Sold some on Facebook too which helped get the profit closer to £14 per box.

No idea why people were buying them from me when Asda had them for £25.

Good photos and presentation with a good feedback going by what I saw on your items available.

Hi, picked up a completly sealed Prison Island Lego set 60130 for £20 from my daughters pre school Christmas fair. It has a symths price tag for £59.99 so I think most parents thought that was the price and walked on by. Not one for making a quick buck but does anyone think this is worth keeping for a while longer? as eBay sold prices are £100 and above. Checked the weight and its completly sealed but with a few minor scuffs to the box. I usually donate wine or something to the school, not lego!

Harry Potter & Hedwig (41615) is £12 at Asda with £6 cashback at Quidco. Seems to be tipped to do well on here.

It'll do very well, I loaded up with several back-to-back orders when George had them for £9.60 each during the last -20% offer. 2x RRP on eBay isn't far off unless the QFLLs step in.

Brickheadz 41621 RW&AD £10.50 at Asda/George. I’ve just had my fill, over to you lot...

OOS now, I had my 11th and 12th orders cancelled ;-(

I tried to get some at around 4:30pm yesterday but they were all gone by then.

Keep stalking Asda as stock often returns. I placed my orders between 1-2pm.

My local ASDA had a few Brickheadz for £6.97. All of the ones left over were bashed so YMMV.

It's worth trying Dobbies garden centres if there's one near you. I think the HP themed

I got a couple, but I didn't see any by King's Meadow, The Meadows or Chineham.

BHz will be absolute winners if current eBay prices are anything to go by. It goes to show that a hideous looking set can still do well, the Delorean being a prime example.

Some good deals on Amazon. Elves 41186 for £10.99, Pizza Vans for £9.29, Tatooine Battle Packs for £8.50. I also managed to get a Heartlake Hospital for £56.49, but I could only order one after adding 3 to the basket so I think they have gone already.

It's the same price at Argos. Doesn't seem to be in stock in any shops near me so availability will depend on where you live.

I think Amazon are price matching, even though the Argos price is not actually obtainable for most. I actually managed to get another ordered separately.

I always wait for Amazon to price match as I'm still in the process of forgiving Argos, it's not easy! ?

I think that when they have sets in stock at specific locations and you go and collect them from there they are usually fine. When they ship them to another Argos collection location they almost always get bashed due to those stupid bags. The two Destiny's Bounty sets I got were a bit bashed, but for about £55 each I'm not overly concerned. It will likely only reduce the prices I sell them for by about £2.50 anyway.

How come you discount by only £2.50 for a bashed £55 set? My customers would demand at least £10 off ;-(

Even when I show a photo of a blemish on eBay, I need to undercut by at least 15% to get a bite. We all know the carnage that a single negative feedback can cause. This is why I return every single set that has the tiniest ding or scratch on the box, unless it's a present or I'm building it. Argos need not apply!

It seems that, on eBay, there is always somebody willing to put up with box blemishes if it means paying a bit less. I sold a copy of 75105 I had that was in a terrible state. One end was torn open across the entire width of the box, and it was so badly crushed it could be folded over (I bought it like this, it wasn't Argos.). Still sold it for £120. By comparison, some minor dings don't require much discount at all.

It must have been TRU then ?

Price match merry-go-round.  Argos / John Lewis no stock for delivery being priced matched by Amazon.   Argos price went up last night and amazon this morning.

How I miss the TRU pricematch.

Amazon website states "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available."

Brickset states that it was withdrawn in 2014 so you'll be waiting a long time!

Reduced to £6.97 in my local Asda. They were £10 yesterday so must have been reduced overnight.

£14 in Asda. Not sure how good they are at that price?

I passed on loads of these at £14.

Tabby and who knows how many other people got them while they were in stock online from asda at £10.50.

Currently out of stock, but Amazon are advertising 4867 Hogwarts for £49.99!!!

I don't know if they've just found a pallet of them (after 6 years) but I've just ordered one out of curiosity.... it might be worth a punt!

It'll be some sort of IT issue. I'd be amazed if you get them. That said, Amazon don't charge you card until they dispatch the item so you lose literally nothing by sticking an order in and seeing what happens.
