Let’s hope the boxes from JL are in excellent condition.

It's was a tempting price, but the money would be better invested in something that will retire, and can be sold in time to buy the Saturn V in a year's time at the same sort of discount.

They normally are and use factory boxes when they can. All my S5s and WoNs from there were in factory boxes. Of course, JLP returns are painless.

I grabbed a couple more of these DB as the deal came on at 9pm - though I was only able to add two to the basket.

Amazon have now price matched - But Argos is 10% cashback with a £2.50 bonus - making these the cheapest bounties I have picked up so far.

Not sure if I can pick up any more from amazon anyway, as I reached my limit before. Don't know if it resets?

Also... The Ninjago Stormbringer was a good one too and I went greedy on them too before they went. Multiple accounts and colleague come in very handy. I had to get my Mini Coopers from JLP as LEGO's webshite is struggling again.

Two mini coopers for £55.99 each with the Christmas gift, VIP points, and 7% cashback seems like a no-brainer to me.

I stuck with SAH for my coopers. 7% cashback with the freebie and points works better for me.

 

Also got my two £52.75 DB from Argos, winter train and track / Saturn v and WON bundles from John Lewis. Boxes on all are mint, happy days.

As I said, it was impossible for me to order at SaH today due to website problems, I'll not bother again today as they really need to fix this. I've been burned very badly at Argos and just cannot ever buy from there again, whatever the price. My overall price for S5/Won "bundles" aren't far off what the JLP prices were with the good discounts I've found over the last year. Anyway, those will still do well at RRP so I'm not too bothered. SaH promos with me just get forgotten about or given away as sweeteners, I'd rather have the discount TBH. 

I wanted way >2 Mini Coopers so the SaH outage wasn't a big deal for me. JLP really looked after me and even gave me a better price when I mentioned the LEGO promo set and VIP points. You only have to call up and ask ?

It'll be interesting to see in 3 years time how much we sold our S5, WoN and DB sets for. RRP after fees will do me, but 1.5x (let's be realistic) would be nice.

We have Cyber Monday coming up, so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Tesco half price Toy Sale coming this weekend but suspect it will be mostly the same TAT as before plus sets which dont sell and are only out.

Amazing the info you can get from staff when you throw them a tin of sweets every xmas.
