Lego SAH sale moved to 50% last night. Hope everyone got their fill. If not, there are still some SW Buildables looking for a good home.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Yes really surprised the biggest Turd of All is still not less 50.

I did think about ordering the Jungle Helicopters, but it’s nowhere near a £109.99 set and mediocre value at £54.99. I was having doubts about a profit by Xmas so I left them - no regrets. It was easy leaving the Technic Jet at that’s been hanging around cheap elsewhere for months with few takers. LEGO will soon be victims of overproduction as their RRPs are way too high and demand just isn’t there. My stock is now below 500 sets for the first time in 6 years and I’m keeping it that way! Nothing floats my boat anymore and I think I speak for most in general.

Fill of what? I saw nothing worth buying ?

75175 A-Wing (just retired) is currently £26.99 on Amazon Prime with a purchase limit of 3.

EDIT: This also stacks with the £15 off £60 student prime deal (STUDENT15)  - if anyone has access to it.

AT 21308 the top of the turds is £26.99 on Amazon still sitting piled up in my local for £31.00

Have to admit I thought about it as a long hold but with 61 other sellers on Amazon it will be a lifetime

before it hits RRP alone.

Any set reaching RRP these days is a bonus. The funny thing is that thousands of QFLLs will be stuck with crap that they can't shift.

Argos 3 for 2 has been confirmed from Friday, anyone interested or are their prices/stock levels too crap to be bothered with?

And yes Tabby, we know, you hate them and hope they go out of business :thumbsu:

Based on current prices there could be some good deals, but I suspect they will magically increase just before the 3 for 2 kicks in.

Always like an Argos 3 for 2 sale, means the pack are fighting over so so deals leaving me the chance to pick up some decent deals elsewhere.

Out of the four sets I was interested in, they have no stock of any, typical Argos.

Which set is it you wanted?

What we have seen today is a very aggressive Amazon attack on Argos. First match their prices and then undercut them 2 days later with their own extra promotion. This will trigger loads of potential returns at Argos - a real headache both financially and logistically. Argos won't do a 3 for 2 again if this is Amazon's response.

With TRU and Tesco Direct gone, Jeff now wants Argos out the way.

Missed it all. Rats.

you didn't lost much, selection was really poor full of turkeys, with not much of the lego tbh.
the only HP set available was with spider, I scrolled back and forth the full offer and decided to pass on that.

the best deal was on Lego Boost but limited to 2 pc. so you can't really match 3for2 without going with sometimg little more expensive to make it valueable promo.
the only more expensive set covered by that promo was white turd renowned as kessel run falcon.

it changed constantly, there was about 130 lego sets at one point. The large destroyer and heavy assault walker came out at £66 each

There was some good stuff. BB8 £37 and Pirate rollercoaster £33 were good deals. Also Speed Champions worked out at -50%. Infinity Wars was all about -50% (apart from Sanctorum). All HP was available early on, Fantastic Beasts -50% and most Jurassic World was also -50%.

Not sure these were turkeys.

I woke up 10:30 today and it was what it was. nothing but turkeys, anyway purchases were limited to 2 per customer for majority of sets, wonder how 3 4 2 worked that way.
