Tesco (The Meadows) had a few Artic Rollers for £9.99 and some other TLBM tat at 2/3 off, I passed. It's all store specific and I'm waiting for a big no-limit 3-for-2 on Tesco Direct it ever happens again. TLBM and Star Wars excepted.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Yep TLBM sets had some promise with a year long shelf life but as usual Lego.com killing it with overproduction.

Still bitter about the ban?

Not at all, I can still troll, but not submit any deals.

Thanks for the heads up, i passed on the TLBM and Ninjago, but couldn't resist the Disney Junior sets.

Very impressive organisation of your stock in those plastic trays.

There's a few promos in June, you'd need to have a look at the May/June calendar to see them, hard to describe the main one, it's a book that opens.

Thanks Guys

TRU (deceased) & now Tesco Direct (RIP 9th July).  My two biggest suppliers.

Tesco have really gone profit mad, at least we were weaned off them as there have been no worthwhile Lego deals in the last 6 months.

Bad news all around though for us.

All buyers, not just resellers are after bargains so it's bad news for everybody. Hopefully it's good for resellers with huge stockpiles as higher retailer prices may bring some value back to the product. At least Amazon UK have dropped a few prices today, but not enough for me to buy.

Tesco Direct having a sale on almost everything. Some deals to be had, worth taking a look. I'm pretty sure there will be more to follow

Thanks, I'll hang on as I see nothing much yet. I'll not get suckered into the 3x Clubcard points "offer" as it's only an extra 3% off. I think Asda could be worth a look shortly along with John Lewis.

Price war has only got started.

If the deals are good enough, just go in huge before somebody else does!

The sets on the 40% off Tesco deal are all medium to large, which is logical get rid of your bigger stock first thats how I would do it.

Shame about the low limits though. I'll see if JL price match and a I'll then order another 5.. then another 5... then another 5...
