One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Since very few run-of-the-mill sets even reach RRP these days, my buy-in has to be >60% off. Those discounts are rare, but I will go in big if it's a decent theme. Star Wars and Friends need not apply. I've heard rumours of massive discounts at Sainsbury's in-store coming soon. Could it be the Asda merger? I've been filling my boots with 75% off City sets at Dobbies.

Already started at some Sainsburys with new Elves 50% off (some stores).

Elves are a no-brainer at 50% off. It's my most profitable non-exclusive theme to date.

The Garden Center chain? And what City sets have you managed to get for 75% off, nosey ain't I.

Lego 75195 75196 £6.50 Asda Instore

75200 £12.24 as well as some other Star Wars sets was in a hurry so will probably be other sets reduced.

Price labels were white so national but in-store only.New battle packs are £5.49.

Quite possibly the best deal we'll see on the Snowspeeder at SaH. I'm pleasantly surprised actually as I was only expecting dross like the Arrowhead.

- £135.99

- Free BB8

- Double VIP

- 5% cashback.

Will work out around £100 if we assume the BB8 has a value of £15.

my local Asda has a few discounted sets, not sure if it's countrywide, all Star Wars:

75198 Tatooine Battle Pack £5.00

75200 Ahch-To Island Training £12.00

75197 First Order Specialists £5.00

75166 First Order Speeder transport £5.00

Don't think they're sets that will become rare or desirable, but if you wanted a lot of first order troopers or jawas it might be worth it.

It almost seems like the discounted price is the right price for Ahch-To.

Regarding purchases at Lego SAH, today only, go via Vouchercodes  and get £20 M&S voucher on £100 spend or £10 on £50.  Makes Snowspeeder even better value when taking into account 20% discount, double VIP points and freebie BB8.

It's local, all close to RRP near me (Reading). John Lewis are now matching Argos's prices so I'm loading up on Destiny's Bounty again at £66.66 each.

If anyone is tempted to buy Elves Rosalyn 41187 from Amazon today at £25 (a pricematch), try Asda first to avoid further dilution and a HDUK post. Just a few left in stock and 4% TCB.

It's a shame that Asda only allow 1 so I had to place 23 orders to go with the 2 from Amazon ?

I'd have wiped them out if I could. Dragons are as popular as dinosaurs so a dead cert at this price IMHO.

Since George has imposed a limit of 1, there'll be a HUKD post soon. Not from me as I'm banned form posting deals!

It used to be and is now bin liners. I'm about to return all 5 that were delivered yesterday ? I now have to work for a living so no longer have time to C&C. I still fail to understand why retailers can't just save on work and bin-liners by just leaving sets in the sodding box!

Oh... my last order from Asda was 2 in a box so it does vary.

Think a lot of sets are already damaged before they stick them in a plastic bag, seems to be any set with a good reduction is a customer return.

Was just wondering where Amazon are getting these from LEGO 60079 City Space Port Training Jet Transport.

  • Back-ordered. Due in stock May 19 -- order now to reserve yours

Quite a few old sets have been reappearing over the last few days, but they seem to have stopped now. They are based in a UK Amazon centre - perhaps FBA seller's stock that has ended up back with Amazon with one reason or another. All at RRP so likely to stick around.

not really a deal but smyths have got various big sets off at 10%, taj Mahal is £270 from £300, will probably be 20% off some point later in year as seems like this is a slow seller

YMMV Asda instore at least 75% off lots of smaller sub £20 rrp sets

10 sets now in the sale section at UK SAH

70357 Knighton Castle £87.99

42066 Air Race Jet £87.99

70916 The Batwing £79.99

41130 Amusement Park Roller Coaster £79.99

21307 Adventure Time £38.24

10845 My First Carousel £15.99

31067 Modular Poolside Holiday £15.99

75529 Elite Praetorian Guard £13.99

75528 Rey £13.99

10738 Snow White’s Forest Cottage £10.39

Yes have to agree with that and just to add fuel to the fire, the Scuttler is £40 on Tesco ebay outlet, just for anyone who doesnt already know.

Time everyone got themselves down to Tesco instore, dont say you werent told.

Would post specific deals on here but would only end up on the Daily bugle.

Edited by grabbitfast

Tesco (The Meadows) had a few Artic Rollers for £9.99 and some other TLBM tat at 2/3 off, I passed. It's all store specific and I'm waiting for a big no-limit 3-for-2 on Tesco Direct it ever happens again. TLBM and Star Wars excepted.
