Seriously, I will wipe out their entire stock if I can as I can flip these all day long locally for £15 cash.

Good Riddance.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

What's the max purchase? I'll be in London next month and will get a lift home from Haymarket round the corner in a car with space! Thanks. Seriously, I will wipe out their entire stock if I can as I can flip these all day long locally for £15 cash.

There were no restrictions that I could see. The Diner and Lester were max 3pp for a while.

in theory I can't see why they would restrict you. I saw two guys buy 100 Brickheadz (maybe more) and no one have them hassle.

But the manager may give you hassle (which is daft as you're only doing what any shop wants you to do... shop).

in theorybwhy wouldnt they bring you several sealed boxes of 12 from the storeroom

just say your buying them for your kids party and you need 40.

Bear in mind I don't think you'll be able to wipe them out as they have so many. You'd need to buy 100+ I think to have a chance of that and even then they'll have more in the back. I've never not seen the shelves fully stocked with these (even with tourists constantly taking them)

I was thinking of 100x for starters as I know I can shift at least 30 straight away. I'll ask someone nearby to pop in and ask nicely for me.

As long as there’s a store in Leicester sq and there are red buses in London, this isn’t retiring. As someone above said, every tourist that leaves that place has a few. Only thing that regularly sells. Easy to take away and it is something that everyone associates with London.

Still have 14 sets in total awaitng new stock showing on my 50 per cent off orders from sah .

Has anyone had any awaiting new stock orders shipped, from the 50 per cent off Thursday deals.

In the same boat. I guess they will get cancelled this week or next.

Will be watching to see if any of the sets turn up on Sah for sale, call to check or otherwise if they do and they cancel my orders ,I will be on their case.

Worst scenario VIP points.

Needs a HDUK post

Their sale is officially over online and in-store. If the same sale sets become available they'll be back to full price.

i'd say you had a good run from the sound of things, so you can't feel too hard done by.

Pending orders should have priority, regardless of price ordered at.

I remember having SW cancelled at discount and it coming back the following October but never within a period of weeks.

Those who ordered AT in the sale should get theirs next week.

Retired Marvel Super Hero Airport Battle 76051 is £41.99 in some Argos stores, one local to me had two.

Not a huge profit to be made flipping it on ebay now, about 20% but it's got some decent figures, parted out the profit potential is larger.

A snowball's chanch in hell of winning, but HUKD are giving away a LEGO Porsche:

I can't enter as I've been banned from posting deals.

Apparently Toys aRen't Us have 50% off everything in their Gloucester branch. Don't shoot the messenger if otherwise ;-)

The Reading branch still looks deserted.

Seems like it's happening today. With all the expected queues and pushing/shoving at branches still open to get bashed boxes, I really can't be bothered.

might make the effort to swing by the Coventry store just in case.

I couldn't get far enough away to be honest. I have a phobia of crowds and queues ;-)

From what I've seen so far, TRU don't do Lego fire sales. My local store shipped them off. I expect to see them on the TRU ebay site, although the administrators will ultimately decide the stock's fate.

Auction would probably be quickest.

nothing doing at Cov TRUs. In fact the whole store just looks normal, but it's huge, with a ton of stock. You can see why they're struggling.

Only sales on in my local stores are the stores that were originally marked for closure, the rest are business as normal still charging RRP  for most items which is incredulous given they are desperate for £15m quid, any wonder they are going under desperate for sales and still charging full RRP.

As we all know they transferred all their Lego stock to non closing stores, so its doubtful as said the Lego will see a Fire Sale

I see Ultimate Batmobile didn't sell out at 50% off (Asda) over the weekend.

Sums up the theme for me.

LOL - it's still available to that tells me that those that bought them could be stuck with them. TBH... I had an opinion of the theme even before the discounts.

looks like you were right. Might split mine out, sell the figures and light and use the bricks.
