One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Certain Lego dimensions fun packs are reduced to only £5 ea and on the 3-4-2 @ tesco direct, making them £3.33 ea.

I was never gonna get any but at this price its hard to say no. No?

It's on HUKD so won't be around long.

They've already sold out of all sets barring Cyborg and two of the Ninjago ones. Others get removed from your basket if you try and check out.

Yeah i thought they'd go quick. I think tesco are clearing stock ready for wave 2.

fnac.be has a 10% member's discount until sunday. Might be worth it for anyone looking to get Simpsons House, the Stick-E-Mart or Santa's Workshop.

V&D in Rotterdam has some sets discounted.

42039 €59 (24hr race car)

41106 €35 (Pop star bus)

41095 €35 (Olivia's house)

And some other sets as well.

Sainsburys seem to be wheeling out some other stock for clearance. Found 10665 for £3.60 in my local shop, definitely wasn't there at that price last week

Thank you , Santa's Workshop for 62.91 euros is a good deal for me.

42039 Technic 24 Hour Race Car £75.75 on Amazon.co.uk , using Flubit got that down to £68.36. Pretty good price for this set I think.

I'd appreciate if any of the Dutch folks near Rotterdam can tell me if there's still some 42039 Tecnics 24 Hours Race Car in V&D at 69€ or less?

Thankful Amsterdamer :)

I think all the V&D stores are closed today and tomorrow.

V&D will be closed forever. Unfortunately today it was announced that takeover negotiations have failed. Bankruptcy is final now.

What's the SOP for the remaining merchandise in such scenarios, does that go on liquidation auction somewhere or what?

So I've seen the antman final battle for sale at 12quid each. I know the set had a short production period but really can't see this doing well in the UK nor Europe for that matter. Anyone got an opinion??

Not nearly as rare or as popular here as over the pond. 12GBP isn´t a lot to lose though so maybe worth a punt.

Small Super Hero sets don't have a great market over here, I'm stuck trying to move any of the smaller sets I bought in my early days on a small margin.

12quid ain't so bad, there are 10 of them though.

I think I'll pass on this then. Have 3 other sets to hit my target on instead.

Yeah, you probably answered your own question there. In this day and age where there seem to be more people reselling than buying for themselves, if an EOL set is still on the shelves in such large quantities, beware. I´d take 1 as you never know, but certainly not go Donald Trump on them.
