They clearly had a few limited returns that could be bought. A few have been snapped up and that's probably it now.

i managed to get a few winter trains that was it. I was told that they literally had just 2.

Very surprised someone got £1400 if stuff, I wouldn't surprised if that was a sizeable part of the total allocation available.

Could be a lot of returns from retailers I suspect as January and early February have been abysmal sales wise for quite a few of them according to some of the shop guys I have spoken too.

Experience from like November 2017 with suddenly retiring Master Wu Brick Headz (+ calling the UK CustCare line).. tought me a really valuable lesson NOT TO TRUST THEM A NOSE BETWEEN THE EYES.. she was almost swearing that right now she had the last set on stock and besides that they expected only like 200 or so more - and then game over.. its three months later and that damned box is not even discounted!

They were not available to order at 50% off.

p.s. Could be one of these sudden sales "hit and miss" within a day. But I truly saw them available online for 50 off

This. I went in for another f40, happy to pay retail for that. Alas, none left. I don’t see why the suggestion was to post this there to get rid? This daily deals forum is not as worthwhile if that keeps happening. .

Available-TOOS-SOLD OUT-RETIRED seems to be the sequence. If stock is low, C2C replaces Available.

Let me know if you get 2018 seal codes on any of your orders  of retired sets BTW!

"Available Now" often follows "Retired Product" these days. It happened to 21306 this mornng and will probably happen to 75105 tonight. As I said before, I think that we need to wait at least 3 months for full retirement.

Sure, you can loop them round as they unretire, but that is the sequential order.

Yes it's been happening a few times recently. Gutted as I had 2 in my cart and then the OOS error came during checkout.

I thought it might be nice (helpful) in a year time to know what exactly "happened" during this sudden storm sale, which took place on this day on EU Shop at Home with more than 120 items discounted to 50 % (all of them in the list below]. Any views on whether this ship has now sailed for those items that are sold out? Or should we keep a watching brief and start F5’ing?

I would keep refreshing for a couple of more days.. as I wrote earlier - the same thing happened last February. Sold out až 50 off - and a couple of days later some of them very briefly reappeared with the same discount. Seems like they do something like "midnight inventory".

 

+ SW Buildables were already marked as retired in October! - and almost 4 months later again on sale???

Half thought I might be missing something and shot down here but seems not. Naturally disappointed, i get it  going across to hukd straight away for pants sets, but decent ones where the community here still have a shot at getting at a decent price surely is to be guarded.

I am working nights tonight so will keep an eye on sah intermittently and report back if  I see things are going in and out of availability.
