Picked up milanos at £24, ultimate battle for asgards £24 and Duplo Cars 3 Flo's cafes for £11. 20. All in my most local store. This probably means the other guy in my town has quit Lego buying, my local store used to be always cleared out as soon as there was a hint of offers on HUKD Bought a solitary Finn brickheadz. That's all there was, one. Will build it to see if these sets are any good. Tesco seems to have plenty of TLBM bane and two-face sets for £30 each. Don't feel that's low enough yet

There's very few sets I'd touch from the movies sets both Batman movie and Ninjago Movie. Far too many sets.

January 14, 20187 yr Pleased to see that many end of 2017 retirement sets are appearing less and less on Amazon, some look like they have gone for good. City still widely available with Volcanoes, Dragster Transporter and Air Show being the worst offenders. I'm also surprised that 41321 Friends Snow Resort Off Roader is still available after such a short run (or so we're led to believe).

Yes a great and most of all fast clear out at Lego sah , compared to last year when the Dr Who set amongst others seemed to be around forever.

Wondering - if I buy it now, hold on for a few years will it go up. Thank you for your reply.

Look out for 60141 City Police Station,75187 Star Wars BB-8 and older Ninjago sets. Grabbitfast - was supposed to go to Belfast last weekend but had lost my wallet. Have a friend who lives up there, he was expecting to see me, but then he knows me so losing my wallet was no surprise to hom. WANTED to head for Belfast cos I figured there are better deals up there than down here The whole thing is the difference between the Euro and the pound...........and then we have our tax, that's a killer There is more than me local - bought something from a woman in Dundalk over the last few weeks. Nice to meet you - someone 'local' Belfast airport is less than 2 hrs from me........city centre maybe 2.5-3 hrs The wh
January 15, 20187 yr Wonder Woman 76075 was available briefly at SAH this morning. I see the Falcon has been available all weekend and is still available now too.

Yes Irish Lego prices are obscene but on the other hand I have seen sets in the past still available in Ireland that are no longer available in the UK and selling in the UK for crazy money. So basically research is the keyword, for example lego 60168 a not very interesting set which you could have picked up at Lego sah for £14 in the sale, but on the other hand it had a short shelf life 6 months, very few retailers sold it,and most of all its part of a Sea Rescue Theme which is still selling. Given time even the trash sets I have bought have eventually risen in value ,but I am of the opinion buy sell buy sell is a much better way of getting a return. Boils down to Research and more Research.

Boils down to Research and more Research. Thank you very much for this reply and advice much appreciated. Decided today that 'something' which is on 'sale' in one of our toy shops must be worth more than the sale price. Bought 3 items one of which was a 76052 Batcave reduced to 199.99 Euro (£177.56). Have checked current listings on ebay but have not checked to see how popular Batman is - am actually thinking of going back and buying another one. Only got into this in November, have always loved lego though just never thought of buy & sell in the past. Bought one incredible set if I could only just get it all made up and ready for sale. Two gigantic boxes of Star Wars lego. Seemingly owner had paid 1250 Euro for set as newbies from shops - I got the lot for 250 Euro BUT only one instruction manual. So - bit of work for me to complete the half made sets. I'll start selling them as pre owned once I get each lot storted out. Have room to store lego and have no problem waiting and watching to see if prices go up. Prices for everything in Ireland are obscene. Sat in a car two or three days before Christmas watching people rushing all over and asked myself, "Did they never hear of the internet?"
January 15, 20187 yr Out of the blue and I hope to whoever that you read this message. Went to take a look at Tesco Ireland cos of someone else mentioning them and hey are having a problem with one item. Lego 60141 Police Station. They are listing it at 27.47 Euro Cost on page says reduced from 72.99 to 69.99. Euro ebay are running £52+ Chanced on saying I was buying one just to see what they would charge me....... and that was 27.47. Bought a bunch - haven't a clue how popular this is. Have to go to Newbridge tomorrow to collect mine. There you go. Just thought I'd tell you and the other person who spoke with me
