One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Just got 2 x Old Fishing Stores for part out at £98 each delivered: http://www.very.co.uk/lego-ideas-21310nbspold-fishing-store/1600184931.prd

You have to open a very credit account to get an extra 20% off the £119.99 price. Or like me open your third one lol.

What state were the boxes in? So bad that you're parting out? I've never yet ordered from Very, but they would be handy as I can use my local Collect+ shop.

Sorry i'll rephrase that, I've just bought them for £98 each including delivery, with the intention of parting them out on bricklink.

Both times i've bought from them in the past have been good, each set arrived in their own box, then the boxes are divided up into shipping bags. I was tempted to get some for investment as this price maybe hard to beat in the UK again, but it will be clogging space for too long.

I have used them a couple of times and they have been the best boxes i have ever received. Outer boxes that fit perfectly and then polybagged.

Seems like a glitch. Get an error if you try to add to basket

Works fine for me on Village but I´ll pass.

Just ordered 10x 10259 Winter Village Stations at £52.49 each and the order appeared to go through. I paid by card this time to avoid PayPal refund problems. Honestly I don't expect anything and I hope that LEGO's bigwigs bear the brunt of the fallout due to their crap webshite.

Do you see flipping potential at only 30% off?

Not a glitch, these are just very low numbers. Once somebody buys, they go OOS again. I managed to buy 75098 AoH earlier and it immediately went OOS once I had. Same with Kwik-e-Mart yesterday.

Managed to snag a Kwik e Mart but not optimistic it will ship. My last two orders (Aroc & Heavy Haul Train) both cancelled.

Mine shipped but I'm considering returning it. Not sure it'll be worth it at RRP.

Well don't rush that decision, you have 90 days after all...

Yes, 90 days to look at eBay "Sold" prices. Buyer's remorse mustn't be rushed ;-)

Mine is actually in warehouse which is a surprise.

After cashback and VIP points I think it's worth it.

I hope you're right. 90 days is a long time.

Winter Village Station available on John Lewis website at RRP

have to admit no idea why this set is popular enough to already command £109. Could have had my fill at the Lego store at -30%. But looks like a poor set being honest. Really don't like it.

Amazon and Asda 70615 Fire Mech £37.00 (Asda 2% Quidco)

I bought in at that as it’s one of the three sets we want from the Movie. I guess it will hit £30 come summer if stock doesn’t dry up?

Even the mech parted out is going for around that on eBay at the moment though.

Btw do you think Argos are trolling with a £95 clearance on Kylo Ren’s ship?

Call it a special offer or end of line sure but a ‘clearance’ price?
