One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

As far as I can see, there are a lot of retired sets on Amazon hovering at RRP (Speed Champions, Technic for example) since yesterday's restock. Some have gone at RRP overnight (e.g. Berlin, Burj Khalifa). I was lucky and managed to get some MInecraft, although the Fortress says "We need a little more time to provide you with a good delivery estimate." I got lucky with Wither and Dungeon as there was very limited stock. Witch Hut still there, but this set is slower out of the blocks. Ice Spikes went very quickly.

I guess the decision is which  recently retired sets are worth RRP?

Looks like tiny pockets of stock they've maybe found nothing too much to worry about.

I just came here to post this as well. Excellent deal, since it can be used on basically any Lego set conceivable.

The same here in Germany, valid until 5PM...(I am pretty sure that it will work till midnight)

The best was that I have purchased LEGO 4554 (sealed Metro Station) at 336 Euro two days ago, but waited with the payment until today. Now I was able to save nearly 50 Euro within this offer. :-)

The best would be to see a good offer at 500 Euro to save the maximum of 75 Euro. Unfortunatelly all these offers are simply overpriced in my eyes...

There are a couple of potential good deals available, like a DB 70618 for a possible ~ £65, and Old Fishing Store for ~ £95. I decided to be sensible, and buy something else (not Lego) that I actually needed instead.

Yes, the sale started 3 days ago but all that´s left are the sets no one wants.

I am asking myself, why I better know than the LEGO company which sets will do well and which not...

It was clear to me that Nexo Turds and the ugly Brickheadz will be a big disappointment...

In opposite to that, I have all Elves sets (because of my young daugther)... And they were a  good seller at all...

Good stuff cheers but can’t see how you are getting close to those prices with 20% off? Sorry if I’m missing a trick here ?

The cheapest priced sets have probably been sold already.  Gotta move fast. Plenty of people lurk this thread without saying anything just scooping up the deals.

You use the coupon when you pay, so I guess you are screwed.

A tip is to send a PM to the seller first to see if they are awake and make the offer that way. Otherwise you are bound to the deal.

That's what I would have done if there was anything of interest. I already knew the answer to my own question when I posed it, as I'm sure you guessed :)

Another tip is to put all items into the basket and use the coupon to pay for all of them in one go if they are BIN.
