I can add 10. Maybe you ordered 1 previously and the max limit is enforced?

No, they never take the previous orders into account during new order processing - I assume he had already one in teh basket...

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

It'll be back as soon as retailers return stock. It seems like sets need to be tagged twice before they are done.

Definitely wasn’t related to me having 1 in my basket - I guess others were adding 10 to their baskets to see if the volume was there, as it kept flitting between offering 9 and 10.

I couldn't add any as I'd already reached the meagre limit when getting the Snow Globes and 24-in-1 sets. I'm not surprised they sold out quick, one of the lowest prices for far for this £125-to-be set.

I'm also away for a week and can't accept deliveries and also live 16 parsecs from the nearest LEGO store.

Just back from John Lewis. Waste of time. No reductions, even on retired store stock that is not online.

Reading price-matched the SaH yellow subs. A bit of a faff with forms, but all OK.

I guess inflation will eventually sort that out for you if demand doesn't...

Or devaluation of the pound.

I'm glad the horde ain't with me on some sets.

Did you give them a chance, though? ;)

This set has been bought be loads of people as a flip. Those who don't usually buy Lego have jumpers on the bandwagon. It's such an obvious set it's attached lots of people.

having said that , I think this will still be a good investment. Will definitely have the appeal that Tabby suggests, good price point, nice set, won't be remade.

not sure i see it at £125. Can see £80 this time next year, which is still good.

Do not want to risk putting through any more orders until the 5 through already are shipped.

I’ve just had an email confirming my first order has shipped. Made just after midnight

One order on way, 4 to go, will wait for their dispatch before ordering again.

Am I losing it or what, I could swear 60130 Prison Island was retired ages ago.

extra info

Amazon restocking quickly. Architecture all in stock, including all recently retired lines.

Also Minecraft (annoyingly). Managed to top-up Dungeon,  Wither and Fortress.

A lot or retired lines now back in stock.

At least Scrotum's Sanctorum hasn't come back yet.

Normal. The worst thing is when they start doing the dbag moves of claiming they are getting stuff in stock again in a month and not fulfilling whilst accepting orders and keeping prices down.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think Adventure Time has ever appeared on Amazon. If so, then Saturn V will be joining the party in 2018.

This set was definitely an Argos exclusive:

Adventure Time was stocked by Amazon for 2 weeks in July, but not since.
