Most things still return a result even if OOS. Doesn't show on search, architecture theme or general Lego list for me.

Since it's a 2-for-2 on the best sets like Tesco was, I cant be bothered. I don't want Star Wars crap like a Star Scavenger to taint my Yellow Submarine order when trying to get 3-for-2!

I had to add an Elves set to get the 3-for-2 in the end. I've got lucky thought and found a private buyer for that set.

I notice with the 20% sale on LAH, there is a mountain of stuff (like Yellow Submarine), that is showing as retiring soon.

I am becoming ever more convinced that the availability of 42054 was accidental. Hopefully they don't cancel.

They were there around 2pm and I ordered 3 and checked out. However my order history is not showing them so maybe an error.

I'd have gone in HUGE on the Yellow Submarines and would've simply ordered back-to-back until I wiped them out.

The Dragon's set was £25 though and the balloon set £40 otherwise I would have.

I may try again later to see if they add any more sets or remove the restrictions. I admit, I'd restrict too if I was them to stop greedy bar stewards like me! It also gives Tesco/Amazon/JL a chance to catch up ;-)

I'm going to sound like my Dad here, but if Cheese advised you to jump off a bridge would you? 

Just because someone you don't know advises you to buy dragons, doesn't mean you have to buy dragons. What he didn't say is that even at a third off the Dragon set is still dearer than it has been in the last month.

Good point, thing is at this stage I'm prepared to take advice from people. I wasn't sure about the balloon set anyway and I'd seen some positive comments about the dragons elsewhere too. I missed the dragons when I was looking online as I was out at the shops and had bad signal on my phone.

Don't be too discouraged. With these 2 limit offers it can be difficult to get the optimum combination. The subs are a good price so don't worry about the elven hit.

The most important thing is I'm getting two more subs for £28.50 maximum cost. 

I've been going for 2x 21303 Yellow Submarine and 1x 41187 Rosalyn's Healing Hideout, rinse and repeat. Oh, I've bought some Scalextric and Hornby train sets too!

only been out 6 months, so quite a long wait, RV was the best set to pair with, 18 months old and already doing the dance on LEGO Shop at Home

Asda obviously using the yellow sub to help shift the turds,no thanks.

Was gonna get some Vacation Getaways with Subs after work but all gone when I got home (wasn't overly bothered or I would have done it on my phone on break). Not liking any of the other options, would just be buying for the sake of it, therefore not really getting the Subs for £30 ish quid as you're just buying a turdster just to make a 3 up. The Elves set mentioned a few posts up is only £25 at Argos anyway so not much point in adding to this 3 for 2 for the sake of it. But, whatever floats your boat................

Took my weekly trawl through the local lego outlets ie Smyths and Toys r Us and was amazed at the number of retired sets still on the shelves moreso Smyths who normally dump the retirees pronto not this year however,looking forward to some good clearance prices soon.

Will keep you all updated.
