One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

You are struggling to choose a discounted set to get a free battlepack.

Perhaps try bulk on the battlepacks? They can be had in various sales for £5-£6 average during shelf life. Desirable ones sell easily for £20 and sometimes more once retired. Endor, kashyyyk and elite clone have all done very well for me. More volume/work but returns are good, easy to pack and gets the feedback up fast.

That's a nice idea, I'm going to skip this deal though. I'm looking forward to the post Christmas sales so I'm happy to save the money until then.

I've three Poe's X-Wing at a buy-in of £36.99 each and wish I had none tbh.

I only paid £27.97 each for 12 of mine and glad I dumped them all for £35 while I had the chance. This set will NOT reach RRP after EOL.

I must admit i think Star Wars has been the worst performing theme in my portfolio. I've always managed to break even on shelf warmers but not much growth beyond RRP for most of last years sw retirements. I think IST is biggest disappointment, just glad the buy in was low.

Yep, same here. I suffered a bit from newbie excitement on Star Wars sets so will not lose money on them but likely not make anything. Thankfully I started just as Tumblers retired so having flipped 3 quickly and sold another 2 this year I'm up £250 on them with one left, that will cover what other losses I have.

Now currently returning all of my Star Wars purchases and saving the money for the sales.

Though I didn't spend much...
75155 - £40
75176 - £20

Reselling Star Wars is way too competitive so I avoid this theme unless I see something at 66% off or more. Even 50% off 75105 MFs will be hard to shift, let alone make enough profit to buy a cup of coffee!

3 for 2 at Asda George. Just bought 3 x Class Xerions for £67 each delivered. Other stuff is available.

Where's the 3 for 2, don't see it?

Check the highest priced items & you will find it says 3 for 2

the claas zerion doesn't come up as 3 for 2 on mine.

Got two subs and an elves set for £90.

Just went back and checked, and you're right. Not sure whether I was the beneficiary of a glitch, or whether they have just already sold a certain amount allocated to the offer. Either way, that didn't last long.

You can follow a link on certain set pages (e.g., Yellow Sub) which shows 3 for 2 sets.

I got 6 Claas before they were removed. They have not sold out so I think they were just taken off the offer. The Porsche was never in it.
