Wow, Amazon Uk must really have overstocked on TLBM Catwoman as they are giving them away with 50GBP of purchases!

Had a quick look not a lot over £50 quid good for resale,but must vote it hot,will help put the pressure on Tesco,price wars are always good news.

I am able to get discounted gift cards for Tesco through work, normally they are 4% off (ie £100 card for £96). Every so often they give 5%, maybe every six months or so. Yesterday they had a 'one-day special' of 6%, this after a 5% promo two weeks ago. Never seen this before and especially so close together so I think they are feeling pressure on their Q4 sales and looking to boost it. If it doesn't work (and let's hope it doesn't) then we may see some decent discounts soon

Yup,  you´d want 40-45% min off Technic sets to stand a chance.  No point in buying one expensive turd just to get another free turd.

Never react solely to discounts. Research your targets and if they go low enough then pounce. 

The police station isn't retiring any time soon and will only get replaced with a newer model pretty much immediately. 

It's usually discounted to some level anyway and last week people were picking these up in store at Tesco for £30 no doubt thinking of a quick flip before xmas so that will limit any immediate flip potential. .

Also consider box size if you're looking to post.

I've mostly researched Star Wars sets and Poe's X-wing is retiring soon.

The free set isn't as desirable. I will do some more research. Thanks so much for the tips.
