Has anyone solid proof there is a 3 for 2 at Tesco, was just at my local and asked the girl working the toy aisle, she has heard nothing about one but reckons it might be the start of next week. She also reckons it will be a third off sale not the 3 for 2.

One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Seems a few were as it is now gone from Amazon. I´d really want 65% to be safe on Nexo.

Punt for me at 50%. I'm hoping a short run will do the trick. A lot of recent Nexo seems to sell for a good price, but not in great volume.

I think the Juniors is an Asda exclusive 'clearance'.

Sounds like a trainee.....

According to HUKD, there's 3hr 25min to go until Tesco's 3(or 2)-for-2 floodgates open!

Posting on Hukd is ok for me nothing against it as long as its 1.A complete turd of a set or 2 .its a set everybody needs cleared.

I'm not convinced. For a start the '2 set limit' restrictions have been removed, and price reductions still remain. Last year Tesco had a 1/3 off in mid december, and I think Tesco will do the same again.

I hope i'm wrong because there are some really bargains if the 3 for 2 starts tonight.

It's only a third off a very limited number of sets though isn't it?

Many others are marked down though. Either they are doing a proper catchup blowout 342 or it´s bull.

Exciting times

Ive warned my credit card it best get lubed up just incase lol

Where are you planning on inserting it?

is there any other source besides the discussion thread on hukd ? Don't they usually run tv commercials the night before ? Or is that Argos?

Not sure if this is going off or not, but here is a link to the LEGO page.  I will try to post some links to updated good deals, would be cool if some can paste in links to good finds and make it simple.  We make no commission from Tesco, they canned most sites like ours from the affiliate program..

https://www.tesco.com/direct/search-results/results.page?catId=4294959686+4294955667&currentPageType=Search&imagePreset=imagePreset-Detail&pageViewType=grid&sortBy=0&searchquery=lego&lastFilter=Type|Bricks&responseToRender=ALL&loadMoreTile=true&pageType=undefined&offset=0

I can't see any comments on EventNext so we'll find out in the morning. As it stands, the existing 1/3 off sets and a 2-for-2 won't help me.

Bucket Wheel Excavator £94 too.

All the easier for Amazon to price match as it is direct price and not any 3 for 2 silliness.

The problem is Amazon's good deals are limit 2, I'm after dozens!

Friends can look at me all it wants, but it has to be 60% off for me and the hospital will be hoarded.

I'm simply going all in on Duplo Jungles, nothing else ;-)
