One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

I'm ordering back-to-back and absolutely will not stop until they are...... dead ;-)

How many did you get?

65 until their website got slow! Let's see if they honour the 13 orders, lucky for some. I'm having dinner soon and may go for another 35 later ;-)

They're sold out now

No surprise there then! I blame those greedy buggers for buying too many. And... that's without the HUKD brigade sticking their oar in.

You wait ages for a bus and then 65 come along at once

I got 15, could have went for more, but trying to restrict my spend on specific sets. Diversification and all that

I must have missed the bus - why the rush to buy a brand new City set at only 50% off?

Because it's a bus and they don't come along very often in smaller sets. It's been an expensive weekend so far!

Why the rush, though. It will be around till late 2018 and that price will come back around again too if not better.

Argos still have them! If you order another 65 you may get enough in decent condition to make a 100!

It needs to be 66% off before I go anywhere near Argos!

JD Williams have the 41126 Riding Club back in stock at 50% off and you can use code QUKG9 to get another 15% off. Also, Quidco are offering 12% cashback so each set could work out at £21.04 vs. RRP £54.99.

I've just ordered 50 of them and it now states that stock is low. Be quick before I go back in and clear them out!

I have another 2 pallets to fill so I ain't done yet!

Already got some, but not sure I'd buy any more now unless I know how much you're gonna be selling all yours for ;)

Don't worry about me, I'll likely flip mine locally for cash and anything left over goes on eBay and Facebook in a year or so. I know Ebay will soon race to the bottom which is why I'll wait. If you're stuck with them in a year, I'll take them all off your hands ;-)

Anyone else spotted the 50% off 'pricing error' at a well-known UK store?

I'm in for 5.

It was 70608 from John Lewis.

They had it flagged at 25% off, but it was actually 50% off. HDUK brigade missed it they are only drawn to % off. Combine this with the 99p Minifigures for free delivery and a good deal.

I thought I was going to be missing out on something good there. Not to worry :)

Yes, it wasn't an exciting set but a lot of kids want these. As exciting as Tabby's buses!

If kids want them I'm happy to supply! ;-)

HUKD have missed a lot recently and I ain't gonna remind 'em ;-)

HDUK generally don't know the RRP of sets, so if it's not highlighted as a discount, it will probably be overlooked.
