One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Death Star at EU Lego Shop 30 % off right now

20%, which brings it in line with the old one.

Amazon UK appear to be matching Argos on -50% sets. I just ordered 2x CITY Bus Station for £19.99 each.

Argos have 50% on 60132-1: Service Station

it's on the list and when are we going to see a Service station again

I saw that.... It's tempting also with 10% Q but, the box condition will only lead to disappointment. I'll need 66% off to take a chance with Argos ;-)

When will we see another? In a few months?

Tesco still doing diddly squat so all the rest are just throwing out the rubbish.Hopefully they are going to have to unload sometime.

None of these worthy of consideration?

That's why I didn't bother and crappy boxes dropping the price further. Shame that John Lewis or Asda don't have much.

lego 41068 has potential if you can hold on till 2019 when Frozen 2 comes out.

Sounds like a good plan. I’ve avoided all the LEGO Ninjago sets so far, which has been hard as my heart likes some but I have too many LEGO Movie sets to go that way again. (The junk / boat thing may be an exception though)

Can’t edit for some reason.. Just wanted to correct I meant ‘LEGO Ninjago Movie’ sets. I love the normal ones.

Just remember that the cashback is on the price excluding VAT.

Going to ask this here as is related to an offer that was posted here.

Those who placed online orders at TRU during the spend £100 get £10 voucher back offer in oct/nov. Have you received your voucher codes yet?

Yes, they went straight to my junk emails though, so easily missed.

Everything from TRU now goes into my junk folder..... intentionally ;-)

Hi there,

New investor here, picked up the Yellow Submarine and the Simpsons Kwik-E mart today.

I'm starting very small so just one each of those and I picked up the Star Wars rebel U wing from Rogue one brand new on Facebook the other day for £40 so fingers crossed some of these purchases work out well.

Not sure if I actually want to sell any of these or not. The Simpsons one looks amazing but I'm not a massive fan of the Simpsons, I'd quite like to keep the Rogue one and Yello Submarine sets though so it's not the end of the world if these don't increase in value.

Hope you all got some bargains today.

60150 Pizza Van is £8.39 at JD Williams as it's on 3-for-2 and there's a NEW20 code for new customers.

I just found out that Quidco have 12% CB (10% ex VAT) so I've just ordered 30 of these that should work out at £7.20 each. I should get around £25 each for these after EOL as it's not your typical CITY vehicle. I remember getting them from Tesco last year for £10 (2-for-2) before being released at SaH and I got £29.99 each for all 6 within a week, so it's  no brainer IMHO ;-)

I was hoping to stack the BLACK code for another 10%, but it won't combine with NEW20 code that I've already used. Still. not a bad deal.

It'll be interested to see what state they're in when I go to collect in a few days, but at least this type of set won't matter too much.

It's a shame that I missed out on the Friends Riding Clubs as these would've worked out at £19.80 each today. Can't have it all I suppose!

This is true. My friend bought one just to go with his modulars. Looks good outside Assembly Square.
