One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

A mate of mine cleared out all the £1 K2-SO figures in the Reading and Farnborough branches of Smyths last week. I've never tried Symths though, is that a toy store too? ;-)

Couldn't resist the fishing store with £30 off. Great build.

Smyths is one of those stores where they clearance things at random times usually when they have very limited stock. Got lucky with Speed Champions and Ninjago sets last year, but nothing local to me this year.

Dont even think about having them deliver though.

A lot will depend on if they decide to price match Argos etc before Friday like they they did last year, heres hoping,Tatty box time again.

Just remember no more than 19 of any set unless its something they are obviously trying to dump, otherwise they will dump your orders in stead.

When I spoke to them last year, they said the limit was 20 even though my order for 99x Volcano Exploration Bases (£28 each with points) was accepted without issue - no surprise there then. Nothing really floats my boat there right now, but I’ll jump in deep if I see good pricing errors.

Can you stack promo codes on Lego SaH?

would be good to stack the snow globe 02 code with the £10 voucher

Sadly no, once you enter a code it locks it in and you are not able to enter another. That will make getting this gingerbread man a challenge.

This isn't 2016 people, the last Tesco 3 for 2 was crap and this one looks like being no better. In the mean time, thanks to that which we do not name, the best deals of the year are happening right now, don't wait for Tesco to disappoint you.

voucher deal in july, 1000 extra pts per £60 coincided with some cracking discounts that they had, 50% off AT-ST etc.

Tesco 3for2 from April has some good ones as well, 60104 Airport came out at 58% off.

Yes there are good deals around now TRU, LEGO Shop at Home, but I've got clubcard vouchers to burn. If current prices hold there is a couple of deals in there. We can't always expect £11 spaceports :geek:

Why do you use clubcard vouchers on Lego, is that not increasing your taxable profit on sets? Would you not use it for the groceries, or to buy Avios points?

And why can't we expect £11 spaceports, that's defeatist talk you :)

Do use vouchers sometimes on hotels or restaurants, they triple or quadruple up making great value.

Ok spaceports maybe, but not the 96% off Portal of Atlantis at £3.50 in 2012 :D

Tesco began their price match campaign last year in October,so far this year nothing, and I have noticed their 3 for 2 deals this year not as good.

Time to email them and ask for price matching.

I tried 'the deal' from both LEGO Shop at Home and TRU. Haven't got anything from LEGO Shop at Home yet, but the TRU one has come through. Ends up being £100 for Brick Bank, 4 pack of minifigures worth £15 (that a friend wants to buy off me), and a £10 gift card which will be valid before this deal runs out. Very nice.

Not sure whether the gift cards will be stackable. Tempted to order again.
