One Day Flash Sale (UK Only) MF at £149.99. Be Quick.

  • One thing I have noticed is that sets are plateauing at "a" price at n months after retiring. 10197 is around £300, it still has not increased in the 18 months since I sold my last one. 10211

  • Though this version totally blows the original away (and is from around where I live):

Lol and I thought I had a good deal might nip into Sainsbury's and pick up another if any are left.

LEGO prices are generally high in the UK, but damn, when you have LEGO on sale you really have incredible discounts!

Came across this site today; it scans a couple of online retailers in Ireland on an hourly basis, to find the lowest prices. I'm not affiliated to it, I just thought someone might be interested:

Lego 75082 tie advanced prototype £9 Sainsbury's online groceries

I don't think 99% of these will actually end up being shipped, 'cause there's no way sainsbury's have the stock for the amount of orders they've just received in the past hour and a half. Although I've never ordered online for delivery so never seen this substitute thing and I don't know how it works, it seems like everyone will end up with one of them instead. :(

you can reject the substitute upon delivery if you want.

I unchecked it after I ordered. I heard it takes 5 days to refund, and would me a small amount of fussing which is rather avoid. I also saw some people hoping the sub being a £40 set of something else but I saw that you get charged for the price of the sub. Bit cheeky if you ask me haha

Ordered mine but unchecked the substitution option, stupid thing to do in hindsight as I could always have said no if/when I saw what it is. Guess we'll find out on Friday between 8pm and 9pm..

Well you have to pay the sub price anyway so it was a good decision. As for receiving the set, I saw somewhere that someone received the £9 micro set that this set is meant to be, but is just listed wrong so I doubt we'll get them.

Ah well, burned my £18 off the first order voucher for nothing then. No matter, I was never going to order my shopping online anyway.

No offence guys, but If you’d looked at the positioning of the set in the range, it was fairly obvious that this was an error and it should have been TIE Advanced Prototype 75128 not TIE Advanced Prototype 75082.  Sure Sainsbury’s mistake, but you need to check stuff that gets posted on HDUK.

Oh I was aware what set it was meant to be, but sainsbury's made a mistake and displayed the wrong item so I had a go st getting it anyway.

Yep, no harm in giving it a go. Thought about popping over to Sainsbury's to have a look on-shelf after the school run but couldn't be bothered as probability of this getting through in store is really low.

It’s not a sub, it’s what the system thinks you ordered.
Sure you can reject it when you get there, just trying to save you a trip, but your call.
